Those threes from Okogie and Eric Gordon were huge.

Book had a couple TOs and then started passing much better at the end of the game. Player of the game.

Upon replay it was a great setup - Dubs absolutely were not expecting Book to pass up on the shot.

I certainly wasn't expecting it. I assumed Nurk was a decoy to get Book some space for a shot

Nurkic was fantastic. He makes a ton of small plays that goes unnoticed but made some highlight ones too. And he doesn’t shy away from taking big shots. That was the biggest thing. Many shots he took today (which he was right in taking) would’ve been passed out by Ayton in the past.

I'm interested in how Beal will work in this offense but the concern for him as usual is can he stay off the injured list and suit up?

I see only 18 pts..did he look off or slow?

Neither. Warriors were playing physical on him and KD took mostly jumpers

I'll just say the spacing isn't there today for him to make plays. The paint was crowded.

Also, holding Warriors to 35% shooting has to say something. Also, rebounding 60-49 and assists 23-18

Imagine this team with even an ounce of chemistry. Suns overall played terrible basketball which is to be expected for a bit. KD with one of his worst games I've ever seen and no Beal. Allen was absolute trash. Book was amazing in the first half and showed his playmaking for the win. Yuta is gonna be the biggest fan favorite (outside of Bol Bol who will almost never play). Beal will fix a ton of issues we saw tonight just with his mere presence on the floor. Okogie was absolutely fantastic.

Only 3 players had any influence for us and we beat a (predicted) top 4 seed on their floor.

And Chris Paul looks washed.

Okogie really won us the game with his effort plays.

Nurkic was perfect in his role looked much better.

Booker was a star without any offensive support really, think he scored or assisted 45% of our points.

Everything was short. He even got blocked on a fadeaway. Idk, it's not horrible, they're looks he likes. But it is just a tiny tiiiiny bit concerning because it might be the lift isn't there on the shot or a step slow might be causing him to settle for more fades instead of pull ups

Wouldn't think much of it unless it becomes a theme.

Yeah at the end of the game in money time, the screen at half court for Book and then continuing to roll hard all the way to the basket, finishing the play with the layup is not something we got last year from "He Who Must Not Be Named"

Ugly but enough. Let's hope Beal is back soon so we can see what Ishbia spent his money on.

Nurkic gets those vicinity area rebounds Ayton couldn't grasp and no fumbles on rolls and his screens really do get Booker an extra step.

Still need to see how our offense runs to get our shooters open, shot chart would show that.

Honestly, I haven't really been all that impressed with KD since he got here.I don't think he's had a single "superstar" takeover performance with the Suns so far.He doesn't look unstoppable/able to score with ease anymore.I wouldn't call him '93 Tom Chambers.Maybe '90-'91, tho.

KD was just driving into defenders all game we need some secondary movement and passing make teams pay for the doubling

His shot % has been falling off a cliff since arriving. Gotta question his lift right now and he doesn't seem able to absorb defenders physically making those shots uncomfortable.

Okogie crashing the boards is a beautiful thing.
