The Knicks just traded a guy in Julius that no power forward or center could stop because of his strength, for a guy that re-enacted this meme against the Mavs when being defended by P.J. Washington.

It sucks that KAT still has the rep of being a trash defender as it hasn't been true for a few seasons now. His only issue is he's not built for drop coverage. Gotta let him play up at the level guarding the PnR.

closing lineup will be crazy....you can even run Hart as the screener for Brunson and if we hit him in the short roll he is great at reading the defense with 3 elite shooters spreading the floor.

It really was. What’s wild is how agitated some got on here even though it was so plain to see.

Yeah, that's why I would only drop an occasional line about it without engaging in the lengthy KAT debates. Ever since the Summer of Ainge I'll never get heavy into those kinds of potential trade arguments again. I can understand someone not liking KAT, but it seemed pretty obvious to me at least that Rose had his sights on KAT the day he became POBUS. It was just a common sense deduction that if KAT could ever be pried loose Rose would do what he could to get it done.

Sad to see my man Julius go after he brought us back to relevancy. Would like to have seen him have a full season with this lineup.

The most dominant offensive stretches of KAT's career were with him playing Center in a 5 out offense. Switching to the 4 to accommodate Gobert hurt his game a lot. I'm telling y'all he's gonna look gooooood in a Knicks uni.

He's made some nice strides defensively these past 3-4 years as well (2019-20 KAT was awful on D).

Clear as day to me.

Things got weird with the Captain press conference and the fact Randle never extended in the summer when.

He still thought he was either top dog or co-top dog.

He’s at best a 3rd option, easy solution, ship him out.

No one is gonna miss him standing at the 3 point line pouting because he isn’t getting the ball then walking back on defense. No one is gonna miss his awful dribble isolation sets where he shoots a terrible contested step back.
