Yes you can offer a contract to anyone who is a Free Agent, but that's not until the FA period.

Free Agent - anyone who is not under contract in the NBA or any other Basketball League around the world.

Contract extensions are just for your own players obviously

Eduardo Najera ($3m) & Jason Kapono ($6.2m) are available. Also have MIA 2010 2nd & CLE 2010 2nd available for trade. I'm open to any offers that shed some salary, or consolidate 2 players into 1 etc...

i also have young Center Hamed Haddadi, combo Guard Sundiata Gaines, and maybe Derek Fisher (if you're sending me a guard) available for the right offer... Not looking for significant upgrades, and you can take either of my picks.

Btw it would be good to know if anyone else has any needs, anyone looking to strengthen any positions in particular???

Seems to only be the same handful of people involved in trade talks over the past few days.

I want to strengthen my backup big positions, and I'm still willing to consolidate on CDR/ Marcus Thornton/James Johnson to get me a very good starting 2.

I have Quentin Richardson (expiring contract) and James Jones (unguaranteed contract after this year) up for trades. Will not take a contract past the 2010-2011 season.

Also willing to part with Louis Williams and Jason Smith, so send me your offers.

Are we on All Star break or something??? Very few people replying to my mails :(

Anyway, Eduardo Najera & Jason Kapono are on the block, not looking for much in return. I'll also listen to offers for prospect PG Sundiata Gaines, and my CHA & CLE 2010 2nd round picks. All I'm looking for are expirers or to consolidate 2 into 1 (my roster is currently the full 15)

I've received some inquiries about my players and I'm not interested in backtracking from my consolidation moves.

Due to the direction of my team, I would consider trading any of my players with additional assets for upgrades, but I am not looking to downgrade at any position, even for multiple assets (unless the value is excellent).

I am still open to trading anyone, Roy included, but keep in mind that I will be looking for comparable talent in return and am very hesitant to trade bigger players for smaller players.

That Pacers team makes the Nets(real life) look like the greatest team of all time. What in the world happened there?
