Smart. Casual fan probably doens't know who Budenholzer is. Kidd was an exciting hire, and a backlash firing for the casual fan. Anything to keep them involved going into a new building.

Always wondered about this logic. Winning is the only thing that can accomplish that IMO. The rest is just smoke and mirrors. The could sell out the Mecca every single night if they were a winner. They could sell out a venue outdoors on a pier in January if they were a winner

Yet selling season tickets in a new building coming off of a season where they (again) lost in the 1st round after falling from expectations being a top 4 east team to a bottom 2 east team means that they probably are a casual disappointment. Yes, winning cures all ails, but going into a new building you would like to have butts in seats.

And when they have a winner they can market the team as such.

Until that happens you market the team other ways.

I guess Bud might be able to turn him into Mike Scott or something.

Jesus you're insufferable.

The front office has been dysfunctional. And they've now finally done something right.

Maybe try following along.

Well if they can sell season ticket packages by touting a new coach as the reason to shell out the cash - all the more power to them. Don't know who would fall for it - but ok

The circle jerk that's been going on the past 24 hours is pretty f***ing stupid. Like I get being hopeful and even optimistic but some people are acting like the Bucks just successfully cloned Brad Stevens.

Not really, guys. It's still the same horrifically-run organization.

It's a good hire and people are happy about it. Why would you want to be a dick and **** on that?

I don't get this thinking, the process this time was perfect. They have screwed up in the past and we're rightly criticized for it. But their process this time is exactly how it should have been. Seems weird to not praise them for it if we criticize the bad times.

Some people love to be contrarians and are always contrarians. Their reasoning, or lack thereof, is most often specious. But whatever floats your boat (shrug).

This board has anti circle jerks for YEARS over things that go badly.

But yet 24 hours of people being happy and excited seems like too much?
