According to yahoo finance, the float on GME is 45.05M shares. According to yahoo finance, 144M shares were transacted today.

Unless all of the WSB army sold off today, this makes very little sense to me. 3X your float in volume?

AMC did 434M in volume today, but the float is 136M.

How the **** did both these stocks trade exactly 3.2x their float?

Hodling, and scooping the ice cream. Long hauling quite a few of my positions. Seeking wisdom from none other than Ron Popiel.

Set it and forget it.

RKT kills their earnings, again, and only moves up 10%. Lovely considering it's 1/3 of my portfolio.

Rest of portfolio: Us Foods, Sysco, Blue Hat Interactive, Palantir, Delta, iShares Russell 2000 ETF, and Draftkings. Open to criticism & advice.

Almost all of my investments are in boring funds, index and target date for the most part. My gambling money right now is in BOXL, NSPR, INFI and HPST. All are down since I bought them but it looks like I will see a nice opening bump on them this morning. Not enough to sell though, they need to run awhile.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Read on Twitter

If you can hodl a crypto for 5 years, pick Chainlink. Very undervalued at the moment. You can still get in under $30 atm.

My long term investments are too many to list, but the big share of my portfolio belongs to TTD (which has done amazing since I purchased), Schwab, HDB, Visa and a few other bigger names along with some local.

My gambling investments are CROX, DAL, FRX, APHA, NSPR, SPCE, ALTU and CRBP followed by 2 FCEL calls that I need some work to turn a profit on. 3/16 $25c, 4/19 $35c (not hitting this one haha - bought at peak).

Apple is easily my largest holding, was happy to buy more on discount at the end of the week and the iphone 13 hype is starting to begin.

Short squeeze attempt. Also, low float and they’re releasing a special $1 dividend for all shares next week

Apparently complaining about RKT on Realgm was the key, been accumulating since August.

Is there any other reason to short a stock other than more gains and being greedy?

I know puts and covered calls can protect your investments and generate income. And there's a lot of strategy with these methods.

I'm just thinking in this day and age, people will stop shorting stocks especially how we have all this info out in the open now.

I'm going to dip my toe in the FRX pool if it dips to $12 again as it did earlier today.

Well I do it occasionally to hedge my bets. I will occasionally short poor performing companies and industries. But that is not more than 10-20% of my portfolio. My money is tied into the belief the market goes up long term with stocks I see value in.

Join me, my friend. I hopped in on your word at $11.80, felt the rush as it rose to $15+ and now hovering $12.

1. There is a legitimate hedging that I can understand

2. There is weaponization of shorting to manipulate the market, to either grab money from retail investors to funds and then funds acquire more of the stock at a lower price, or even more nefariously try to bankrupt the company and make a killing off the short. I think what we are beginning to see is really interesting seedy underbelly of funds, but at the same time the power of the decentralized fund aka apes on the internet banding together that if focused can swing the pendulum and use that against the funds. Crazy times.

I got in DraftKings at just over $20 and it's over $70 today. I should probably sell but with more and more states legalizing sports gambling, it seems dumb to do so. But then again is this a $100 stock? Targeting a price seems like a bad way to signal a sell. I need to do more research on what other pros do.

Got in at $11.75. Not a huge amount but enough to make it interesting.
