At center he’s a disaster.

Oh, so just trade for Kevin Durant and let him play the PF position then.

Randle and picks for KD?

Unless KD thinks Bradley Beal is suddenly going to get healthy.

He can get a 10m/y offer.

But he can choose NY for less money if he is interested in pursuing a gig as a model...

My spur of the moment bad idea. Go get Klay and LeBron for 2 year deals each. Have no idea how to do it or checked if salary works.

Let these kids learn about winning it all from 2 guys who have done it continuously. In 2 years when Hebron and Klay contract up. You bring in new Star to play with the kids who have the experience of winning it all.

I don't think Thibs would allow Leon to pull the trigger on that trade tbh.

If the warriors waived CP3, how would you all feel if the Knicks offered him the MLE?

This is not based on a rumor this is completely hypothetical.

Out of curiousity, why? Isn't there something to be said about adding players who have won it all multiple times and instilling that on our Kids?

Because it's a terrible idea by your own admission.

These "kids" are grown arse men who already won on a collegiate level. What championship pedigree can LeBron possibility instill? How to win with 3 all-stars? How to win in the bubble? Aside from Holiday, Boston has zero NBA champs on their squad. Denver had zero NBA champs prior to their win last year. Same for Milwaukee. What specific lesson is LeBron teaching?

Klay is a shell of his former self. What lessons can he possibly teach? He's not the wise old janitor that's going to inspire anyone to greatness. Are we suddenly forgetting how he pouted about his struggles? Or his awful body language?

How can these 2 in possibly fit this team? In that locker room?

That's like saying John Starks was an awful defender because he couldn't stop Jordan. Dunno how anyone can come to the conclusion he's a bad defender and chucker. To each their own.

He’s played pretty good defense the whole season, shot the 3 well, and was coached by Nurse who is a good defensive coach and praised him for his defense at time. Oubre’s not a shut down defender, but he isn’t a negative either.

If they could get Oubre for the full MLE to replace Bojan whose contract will take them over the second apron if IHart and OG stay it makes even more sense. Not to mention Bojan is 35 and had two surgeries this summer. Oubre is 28 so he fits the timeline. Plus the Sixer probably don’t match that MLE contract because they are chasing one of Klay, PG, or Butler to put next to Maxey and Embiid.

For a team whose identity is that it’s made up of “misfit toys” or guys other teams should have kept…. I like it more than anybody we could draft with our picks. I also like it more than I like the idea of running it back with Bojan.

oubre at full MLE + 2 mil buyout bojan ($13+$2) or bojan $19 mil contract
though signing oubre hard caps you

I’m down with letting Precious, Burks, and Bogs walk while being in Oubre with part of the mle and drafting three rookies for the bench. Bringing OG and IHart back obviously and running it back with the great depth.

Can we resign iHart ($17M/yr) and OG ($35M/per) and still bring back Precious, Burks, and Bojan?
