Craig pawson is letting Liverpool get away with murder I can’t believe this. Constantly getting in our way when we are attacking, Trent kicked the ball away when we had a foul and no booking. Mac Allistar diving around the pitch, shocking ref.

And then we get an owed decision with a handball in the build up for our second goal lol

2-2 seems fair, shocking refereeing tonight.

It seems pretty fair if you look at the last 10 minutes, LFC was in danger.
Even when Aston Villa was up, the xG was 0.70 Vs 1.74 in halftime. LFC should have won according to xG after 90 minutes AV had 0.73 vs LFC 2..44, which is probably the crazy chance Nunez missed. Liverpool was very flawed but they had a lot space to counter if they had better form than Everton types. Slot was outplayed by Emery specially with the AV subs that changed the tempo late. Diaz should have been on the pitch when Aston Villa was too gung ho.

Just saw the highlights. Both teams had chances in the second half.

Villa just gifted them the first goal.

Potentially Arsenal could be 5 points behind after the weekend.

But Liverpool has just lost one match all season and there's what a dozen matches left to play? They've gotten more draws than they wanted but they're not losing matches either.

City will be motivated to climb up to secure a top 4 finish. But is Haarland going to play Sunday? Not sure if he even substituted against Madrid today but Madrid got out to a big lead.

Maybe Liverpool breaks out against that City defense if they play again like they did today.

I don't think City stands a chance whatsoever on sunday.

Arsenal really botching it, now down to 10, down a goal, less than 20 minutes.

It’s over.

Didn't see this one coming. I thought if Arsenal were to drop points, it would be at Nottingham Forest rather than home to West Ham.

Spurs have won 3 in a row. We're coming for you, 11th place.

Good second half for United vs. Everton.

Really pressured Everton and eventually broke through for the point.

Oof if they gave that penalty for the flop in stoppage time ...

Villa has a good match vs. Liverpool midweek and so far laying an egg in the first half vs. Chelsea.

Good comeback victory for us. Another shocker from the refs lol, should’ve had a penalty in the second half. Rashford and Asensio once again played well, I just wish we’d stop conceding from the first shot of the game.

Yeah I don't know how Cucurella wasn't called for a penalty there. Rashford was excellent when he came on.
It's time for 5 refs.

Liverpool have not looked very dominant lately. Like the last dozen games, or so. Couple of good wins, but far, far from champion quality. Only issue is, nobody is stepping up. We're almost certainly going to end the season with double-digit draws. If this was a typical $ity season...it'd have been over a while ago.

I think this will be extra painful for Arsenal, if they don't win it...because this was a year they shoulda done it. But for injuries. As a guy who likes Arsenal alot...I feel for them.

But it's not over. I would be far from shocked if we walked away from the next 2 games with only 1 or 2 points. We have a dozen games left, and there's a handful of good teams left in there. I just don't see the good form, like earlier in the season. There are no games where I feel "guaranteed" 3 points now. I'd bet my house we'll drop the 8-9 points necessary for Arsenal to win it. But how many will they drop? That's the question.

Hope your right. If Liverpool could manage to win the next 2-3 games....the math starts to close in on Arsenal. But we gotta beat $ity first....something I feel is far from guaranteed. If we can draw to Everton, $ity stand a chance.

I know, I know....Everton bring 1000% against us. But where was our 1000%?? Cause we 'should' have beat them 3-0 or 4-0 given the talent disparity, had we brought the same passion.

I think there's only like about a dozen matches left

Going to be very hard to make up 8 points, maybe 11 points.

Anyone want to bring up the penalty/overturn in the Everton-Manchester United match?

Was there a foul committed (shirt pull) by de Ligt? Yes. Does Young embellish (dive)? Yes.

What I don't understand is the inconsistency of when VAR intervenes. In this situation, was this a "clear and obvious" error by the referee? To me, a shirt pull is subjective, and as such, the on-field decision should stand.

Curious to read others' opinions.

The lack of offensive firepower is costing us.

I was the one here who believed the least in Arsenal chasing down LFC because of their negative play, lack of creative offence but even I assumed easy win Vs a very bad West Ham. It is not fun to watch their games for neutral fans at all.

What did the injury do to Odegaard? His creative genius is...?
