As much as I’ve believed we can’t trust Khris to stay healthy I’ve been pretty adamant the last 12 months how important a player with his skill set has mattered for us to be successful. He’s made us better despite his obvious decline.

Kuzma may help the small ball lineups but he’s easily a worse fit. I’m hoping we find another option who can play a majority of minutes at SF.

Deal with Portland is the best take I’ve seen so far.

Insanely, nakedly bad move. A crime against the Bucks. The ONE thing that goes really right for the Bucks in tooo long, a draft pick pans out, and Horst just throws it away? For *what* exactly. And HIDES the giveaway of our best asset beneath the why-bother Khris/Kyle shiny sideshow distraction that doesn't address what needs fixing. What is going on. Horst is gonna pay for this for yeeeeeaars.

Huh? How has AJJ panned out so far, and this is coming from someone that thinks he could be special. I think the ‘emergence’ of Ajax, Green and Rollins is the only reason we were willing to send AJJ out. If that is true, I guess we need to give credit to someone for finding those three dudes.

I don’t think any f those 3 have the talent or potential that AJ Johnson has and Washington very smart to include him in this deal. I am most pissed off of this trade because of this.

This trade was all about player health and roster flexibility. Getting off the 2nd apron could literally effect two or three rotation spots over the next year. Impossible to evaluate this trade without understanding those additional moves.

I never saw much promise in the little I saw Johnson. I assume the Bucks had a rigorous evaluation of him before trading him away.

I shared the HOPE that Johnson would become a star. Ditto for Joe Alexander, Marcus Haislip et al. But at present, Johnson's youth is his most notable NBA credential. He might never rise to the heights of a Donte DiVincenzo.

The focus should remain on maximizing the elite talent of Giannis.

Having three AJs was fun, downgrading to two is a mere coincidence. Not cool, Horts, not cool at all.

What does Kollege Klub have anything to do with any of this? And why did they want your baby? Also, you had a baby? That lab is much more complex than I imagined.

Goes to show we really have no plan at all. We are a poorly run franchise.

Worth asking / finding out what a trade would bring--just to set a benchmark.
Would he bring too much? aka 8 picks & 9 players, so no one can afford him?
Or would he bring too little? aka the Bucks can't afford to accept 2 1sts and 3 has-beens?
If we don't find out, we dont' really have a handle on what we're doing.

What a f### joke. Fits in with everything else going on in the world.

Khris overcame that Cousins Center injury, fault of Bucks having a leaky roof. Got the team to the Finals & won.

Played against Indy with injury, when they could've just sat him & Dame for long term gain. They knew Giannis would be out longer than they let on.

As time passes ownership is beginning to looking worse. They kept the Bucks here, but how committed to actually running a first class organization are they? Its just an empty front at this point.

I suspect '21 was our (only) year, but cheaped out on PJ. Ran everyone into the ground. Scapegoated the coach. List goes on.

Zach Harper had a much rosier take on this trade than this board did. Trade grades are over at The Athletic.

I feel like this was an AJ Johnson <> Kuzma trade, and the price was them taking Middleton.

Sure, he was literally the incentive for WAS to do the deal. I just think people pretending he panned out already is kind of joke, and i say that as a guy that really believes he will be good. Just probably not in a timeline that worked for us.

It probably came down to including Green / Ajax and we settled for AJJ. But again, Kuzma is NOT a guy I’d have gone for.

This take is simply not based in reality my man, your head is buried deep in the sand on this.

Take a breath and reassess the outcome based on Feb 2025 Khris. Not 2019 Khris, hell, not even playoffs 2024 Khris. That guy doesn't exist anymore - the tread is gone, the tire is flat.

He absolutely may turn into a superstar for all I/we know, but the surety some of y'all have about a kid who has played 44 total minutes across 7 games is wild.

I mean I love Giannis but when it comes to player evaluation/scouting/team building, I absolutely could buy that he’s stupid. And that’s not a knock on Giannis specifically, I think a massive chunk of players are stupid in that regard.
