This Atl vs Nets series reminds me alot of last year when the Pacers almost lost to the Hawks in 7 games. Its especially similar when you consider both years the Wiz wrapped up their series quickly and ended up waiting to see who would win. Last year we got the Pacers and lost in 6, this year I hope to get the Nets. The Nets aren't a particularly easy match up, but I think the home court advantage would pull us though, even with Lopez having a great series. With the Hawks, you never know when that 60 win team will show up again and their ability to force TOs is scary since the Wiz are TO prone anyway.

Agreed, on all three counts. ATL/BKN = IND/ATL - just hope the outcome is different too. Nets will be tough but I think we can run them off the court - they don't hustle back on D (might change in the playoffs). ATL just seems to have our number and are able to spread the court (and I don't trust Wittman to start with a stretch 4).

The Spurs were extremely fortunate to get away with this win. They got a bunch of breaks from the officiating crew, and if Jordan doesn't interfere on Griffin's shot at the end, it's a wrap.

Both teams battled, and both coaches did a great job getting their guys ready to compete.

A) I'm not sure that ball goes in if Jordan doesn't touch it
B) The Spurs would have had 4.9 seconds to draw up a play

Austin Rivers may have blew the game for his dad. He got lucky that Danny Green didn't make a wide open 3 pointer but he also forgot to box out Danny Green on that free throw miss. And he missed two free throws.

The Spurs always go on a run when BOTH Griffin and Paul are sitting.

They were up 13 in the 1st and in the blink of an eye, Diaw, Mills, and Ginobili close the gap within 2.

The Spurs also weren't hitting 3 pointers until last night. If they found their touch from there as they did last nigh, it'll be a wrap.

Tim Duncan continues to amaze. 39 years old, playing good defense on an athletic 25 year old PF (even blocking his shot late), and having 3 20/10 games in this series. They badly need Splitter to be healthy if they want to make it far

The Rondo trade really killed Dallas huh? I thought they'd be a darkhorse favorite to win it all the way they were playing before the trade. You can never discount he value of team chemistry and cohesiveness.

They also gave up a first rounder I believe, and two very good role players in Jae Crowder and Brandon Wright. Epic fail by Cuban

BTW, do we want the ATL/BRK series to go 7 games? Or would 6 be better so we don't get too rusty?

This is probably one of the trades with a superstar involved that looked bad the moment it was done, as opposed to using hindsight. Rondo can't shoot or hit free throws, and he was an assist padder while in Boston. It was a bad fit, why would LA go after him? I'd rather have Clarkson for less than one million. They've got a ton of cap room but if they're interested in re-signing Ellis and even Chandler, that cap space is going to disappear.

Teague just left the game with a leg injury, didn't look too serious, but who knows.

Notice how if you don't turn it over left and right against the Hawks, they look extremely beatable.

When it looked like the Hawks were blowing it open Brooklyn stayed calm and collected, didn't press the issue and just played their game.

Incredible amount of patience so far, it's paying off.

Not seeing any of the ball movement that got the Hawks 60. Under pressure they turn into a jump shooting team. Right now, a rich man's Raptors.

Poor execution down the stretch for the Nets, and a poor job defending Teague.

Tough to win when you dig yourself a hole early on in the game, but the Hawks appear to be far from the juggernaut they were during the regular season.

Washington has a shot, should be an interesting series.

Schroder has looked pretty bad in the games i've watched. Whenever he comes in the offense falls off badly.

Strong games from the Hawks starters.
Thank God we didn't draft the Fat Matador.

Watch them look like the Spurs in the next round vs us.

It'll be #SoWizards
