And NBA India is promoting JLin again today.
BoxFish is the education app he was endorsing and promoting to help reform the school system in China for learning English.

This may be a few days late in coming but FYI...while all posts that are personal attacks should be reported, if you bait someone into a flame war and then report another user's response to your post crying foul, it does not help your case. Insulting someone and complaining about someone insulting you is flat-out hypocritical.

It seems JLin is currently filming a commercial for the charity City Impact.
Back in 2013, JLin did a Jubilee Project video to raise awareness for the charity City Impact and how it helps inner city kids, by focusing on José, one of the City Impact kids.

Looks like he's putting together his next Quarterly package. I believe the last one included a deck of cards with a different hairstyle on each of the 52 cards.

Hornets bloggers and former teammate and execs are being very gracious about missing Jeremy. Pete Guelli is the Hornets VP. Kemba talks about JLin's departure.

"I hate to see him go, but at the same time I’m definitely happy for him," Walker said. "He deserves to be a starter in this league. He’s such a great player and he proved that last season. There were games where I was off and he carried the team."
Oh so sweet!

Re: The Official Lin Net Thread
I figured I would share this here. My girl is anti-sports. She wont watch anything with me. She grew up with 2 sisters and her father wasnt big into sports so it perplexes her as to why I watch so much sports. She does like something from nothing stories being born in a village in Poland. Her parents came here with nothing but through hard work her father became a machinist and her mother opened her own business which she is successful in. The reason why I am telling you all this is because Im trying a new approach to get her to watch the Nets with me finally. I made her watch the Linsanity documentary on Netflix with me because I knew she would buy in on the underdog story and the fact that he is a good dude. I figure if I can sell the human element to her that it would give her a rooting interest to watch the games with me this year. With the over exposure of Lin content out there. I just need to manufacture her first favorite player so that I can hook the bigger prize, getting her to watch all of the Nets games with me. LOL

Actually, it looks like the commercial he's filming may not be for City Impact, but for Lyft.
Unless he's doing both or something. Not sure who's right. Only thing for sure is that he's filming something in SF today.

Ha, I've tried this strategy too with my wife. I feel like if I can present NBA games as more of a soap opera -- with narratives, storylines, and human interest stories rather than Xs and Os, stats, and plays -- I can hook her in.
First, I start by spinning the mythology of the forlorn Nets who, like Icarus brazenly reaching too quickly for the sun, had the hubris to mortgage their future to achieve instant success only to be cursed by the gods with no draft picks.
In comes Mark, the savior who mandates high character and rebuilding the right way, and Atkinson, the plucky and beloved gym rat coach who was present at the creation for Linsanity, to lead the consummate underdog Nets to the promised land.
The Linsanity video is the next easy step -- a readymade underdog story presented in dramatic, accessible fashion. Then there's people like Levert with his multiple foot surgeries and the early passing of his dad, or Bennett the former #1 draft bust trying to make good -- the underdog stories are endless!

According to his snapchat, he's doing film sessions on Nash and Tony Parker.
Also, he's going to be in Seattle for the DOTA 2 tournament The International 6. He was there last year for TI 5 as a guest host and game commentator. He's wearing a Brooklyn Nets shirt in the TI 6 prep video.

That Parker move was more instinct than something that you'd practice.
Nash however, good lord. His footwork was insane.

I hope you're working out and are able to take down some people. You don't want her to get too interested in those MMA guys.

He worked with Nash last offseason and has a good relationship with him. I wouldn't be surprised if he does more work with him this year.

Re: The Official Lin Net Thread
I'm not sure when Lin started to do this but one of the Nash-y things he does in the pick-n-roll is, when the defender goes over the pick, Lin slows down and keeps him at the back of his hip for several dribbles -- in effect rendering that defender out of the play -- while continuing to survey the floor and survey his options. Lin also uses his off hand effectively to keep his defender at bay at his hip. This is a regular feature of Lin's PnR play and it sets him apart from most PGs.

He also started doing those drive to the basket where he will dribble under and around the basket waiting for a cutter or an opening to develop rather than forcing a contested layup or picking up his dribble.

Re: The Official Lin Net Thread
Seems the thing he filmed in SF was with Hip Hop Lyft and Keith Lucas of the Lucas Brothers.
Hip Hop Lyft is a branded version of Lyft.

The identical twin Lucas Brothers are a comedy duo based out of Brooklyn. They're the guys behind the animated show Lucas Bros. Moving Co. on Fox and FXX.

NYC-based actress Megumi Haggerty (Japanese-American and Irish-American parents), who's been in shows like The Mysteries of Laura and Happyish, tweeted about watching the Linsanity documentary a few days ago and how it affected her.
Besides the obvious following he has in America and in Asia, Jeremy also has a wide-ranging non-Asian international fan-base. A French girl Sophie in Paris, who has followed Jeremy from NYC to the Rocket's Red Nation to the Lakers to the Hornets to now Brooklyn, just posted a pic of herself with a new Brooklyn Nets jersey. She would rather follow Linsanity from the Hornets to the Nets, instead of continuing to follow her fellow French countryman Batum in Charlotte.
