2 questions:
Are we doing cap holds for roster spaces in fa?
&
How many roster spaces do we need to account for when applying this rule?

Check the fa thread mate.
If you have a free agent, and you want to keep his capholds (allows you to sign him for 5years with 7.5 percent raises), you need to list the caphold for this players. You dont need to list the players you waive the qo but inform me in the fa thread that you waive the caphold.
You need to apply for 11 roster spaces.

USE THE FA THREAD TO WAIVE CAPHOLDS, EXERCISE TEAM OPTIONS AND SO ON.
mini caphold is 500k, check basketballinsiders for capholds and use the info in the thread.
You dont need to waive capholds for vet mins... you dont have the bird rights... check the fa thread for all the info!!!
Start waiving ung deals, I will add all players to the FA pool!!
If you have 5 players under contract and no more free agent capholds, you need 6x mini caphold. Yes 6 not 7, 11players cuz you offer the 12thdantley4prez wrote:Atlanta Hawks - briansimontacchi@gmail.comHopping4Wiggins wrote:Boston Celtics - Klo42ve@gmail.comdantley4prez wrote:Brooklyn Nets - briansimontacchi@gmail.comSimonFish wrote:Charlotte Hornets - simonchow1990@gmailTony Snell wrote:Chicago Bulls - Turnermatt93@gmail.comCoxy wrote:Cleveland Cavaliers - apcoxy@gmail.comTimmaytime - tim.waller5@gmail.com wrote:Detroit Pistons - Carl.killian@hotmail.comimmartalone23 wrote:Indiana Pacers - analyticanomaly@gmail.comBdeRegt wrote:Memphis Grizzlies - bdeRegt@gmail.comNBADraft2003 wrote:Miami Heat - cookdarrion38@yahoo.comdamecurry wrote:Milwaukee Bucks - wallengms@gmail.comDerrickNoah wrote:New York Knicks - Carl.killian@hotmail.comBlazer50 wrote:Orlando Magic - Scott.ins@aol.comSimonFish wrote:Philadelphia 76ers - simonchow1990@gmailcainepelicans wrote:Toronto Raptors - cainep3@gmail.comDiamondman07 wrote:Washington Wizards - diamondman07@yahoo.comOden2 wrote:Dallas Mavericks - Ght4398@yahoo.comdamecurry wrote:Denver Nuggets - wallengms@gmail.comBdeRegt wrote:Golden State Warriors - bdeRegt@gmail.comDan Verze wrote:Houston Rockets - schroeder-krohn@gmx.deimmartalone23 wrote:Las Vegas Vipers - analyticanomaly@gmail.comDomejandro wrote:Los Angeles Clippers - Domejandro@gmail.comMadNess wrote:Los Angeles Lakers - Cantmesswithness8@yahoo.comATL Boy wrote:Minnesota Timberwolves - adnanlucky13@gmail.comJR SMITH_5 wrote:New Orleans Pelicans - luness.dutchman@yandex.comTony Snell wrote:Oklahoma City Thunder - Turnermatt93@gmail.comSaul Goodman wrote:Phoenix Suns - bettercallsaulgm@gmail.comBlazer50 wrote:Portland Trailblazers - Scott.ins@aol.comDroppinDimes wrote:Sacramento Kings - roberto.serrano9@gmail.comwackbone wrote:San Antonio Spurs - Kendon.bates@gmail.comMadNess wrote:Seattle SuperSonics - Cantmesswithness8@yahoo.comTfence92 wrote:Utah Jazz - Sam_valentino999@yahoo.com

Re: GMAT Winter Edition: Discussion
Okay!
I am making this clear to the ORLANDO MAGIC, the PORTAND TRAILBLAZERS and the NBA LEAGUE!
The Lakers convey their 2017 LAL first to PORTLAND (since it was 4-30).
This subsequently means the 2019 LAL first is conveyed to ORLANDO free and clear.
This also means LAL gets their own 2017 second, their own 2018 second, and their own 2018 first.
Thanks Steve Nash and Dwight Howard!
Feel free to verify Dan Verze

Do we have to renounce cap holds before FA or can we do it throughout the free agent process?

Before. Same applies for TEAM OPTIONS AND UNG CONTRACTS AND QO. If you do not waive Qo and or relinquish to and waive ung contracts, the options will be picked up

You need to apply for 11 roster spaces.
You have to do all 12 roster spaces. CBA FAQ rule 14. Minimum roster is 13. If you have no one on your roster, you have 12 minimum cap holds then you have the remaining cap room.

This doesn't make sense. Why would you have to renounce before? For Warriors for example, I shouldn't have to renounce any of my free agents until KD agrees to re-sign. If I have to do it before, you risk losing bird rights and your target. I agree with Team Options but cap holds should be able to be renounced as needed.

Rankings were posted. I am working on going through and making sure I have the right team owning each pick. You can figure out your own pretty easily just taking me some time to dig through trades, etc. It should be up soon.
