The tanking is a bit premature. KP will prob be back next game and they will start winning games again and hover around .500. Come back to me if one of Rose/Melo/KP gets a long term injury.

Obviously the middle is the closest to the truth. Melo definitely helped us make the playoffs. He was a very good player in his 20s. He was top 10, and maybe even top 5 in the league.

He's now a shell of his former self, and thinking he will ever regain his abilities is foolish. Age doesn't work that way. It works the opposite.

It's time for him to realize that, and figure out how to close out his career in a winning environment, rather than stay on a team in obvious need of a rebuild.

Spot on good sir. Team tank is recruiting. We'd be happy to have you.

I've been on Team Tank since 2014

After Melo peaked in 2013, I knew there was only one way we'd go, and it certainly wasn't up.

Let's roll!

How about you don't start this team behind the 8 ball to being with? You're already playing 4 on 5 with Noah out there. So you compound it by playing LFT who's been pretty terrible all year?

And if you're so upset by the defense, why don't you start the guy who's probably been your best perimeter defender in Holiday? You know, so when he makes a good play on defense it isn't wasted on the 2nd unit who are lost on offense most nights?

During this losing streak Jeff has started 2 guys who have been missing from the rotation during almost all our W's.

Nah. It's on #7 for that

#7 has had a terrible season and not once have you admit to it. there's been nothing positive from melo this season.

he's playing the same way when he wanted d'antoni fired.

False.

I said he's far from an all star and I've called out his poor play many times. Even last game thread I said he played terrible. Go to the PHX game thread. Go to the first f'n game thread of the year. Melo had it going early and I said I don't like all this ISO **** even if it's going in. It's not just when he plays bad. A bad shot I'll say it. Today he came down the court and did some crossover and chucked it and I said it's a terrible shot.

I just don't have an unfair bias against him so I don't blame everything on him. I look at all the guys who do dumb ****.

You guys ignore all the games he's done well and only focus on the bad. Whatever makes you a happy fan

all the games? dude he's had a terrible season

games he's shot over 50% - 8 times
games he's shot between 46% and 50% - 3 times
games he's shot between 40%-45% - 9 times
games he's shot between 30%-39% - 6 times
games he's shot under 30% - 6 times

melo has had way more bad games than good games this season.

If KP comes back next game this team is filled with complete morons. You give the guy 1 to 2 weeks off for his achilles to not flare up again. These games are meaningless.

KP said he'll "probably" play Wednesday.

I'm fine with it if January continues to be this torture chamber.

Let's hope that if this team is going to attempt to win games, they start playing the right rotations and start maximizing what our players do well. Enough of this "we have to play this guy for this reason" nonsense. Applicable to everyone.

Have you seen the schedule? This was one of the easier games, and we let Orlando shoot the lights out.

If things go well, by game 50 we'll be 22 - 28. If things go bad, I don't even know. Maybe 19 - 31.

Time to move from one "godforsaken" era to the next.
We ain't never winning sh*t and this fanbase doesn't deserve to win a damn thing.

Mofo's fix their fuqing lips to speak on a players contract and tell a player they need to take less money to play for this team then turn their ass around and want the player gone on the first thing smoking. It's old and needs to stop.

I have, and I see a lot of winnable games in January.

Our team doctors are complete trash. They never take MRI's even though it takes 20 mins to do one.

Instead they just "feel" around and ask the player if they are ok to play. I wonder what school these geniuses are coming out of.

Pelicans, Sixers, Suns, and Mavs are the only "easy" wins left in January. Everything else is gonna be a tough game.

id consider the under 40% the bad games, assuming the TS% was still decent. So that's 20 games where he probably played well. But that's without any context and me just guessing.

Also, what about all those bad games where he hit big shots in crunch time? Do those not count as helping in the W?

We have 16 W's

ATL
CHA
IND
MIA
SAC
SAC

That's 6 games off the top of my head he was the best player on our team and we got the W. Have to go back and look at all our W's.

Anyway, what's the point? You're going to blame him for every L and I'll keep blaming whomever is actually responsible, him included.
