For all the doubt, the Sox just HANDLED a couple of great teams easily in their own houses.

Not to be a downer man, but the Yankees ain't so great. I'd go so far as saying the Yankees suck. 100 wins? Sure, but that was the nature of the league this season. Three hundred win teams, another ten 88+ win teams.

But man, the Astros are good, even with a limited Altuve. This series, this was a hard fought win, for me it feels more rewarding than any other Sox victory I can remember since '04.

Yup. Don’t know how really. Guess no one saw Bradley coming on like he did, or Devers tonight. This team is probably going to sweep who ever they play in the WS? I can’t see LA or Mil being as tough as NY and the Stros.

I am pleasantly happy to have been wrong but I think I said I thought they’d do well against Houston. Just didn’t think THIS well!

So?

It's still the Yankees and they have a rivalry with the Red Sox since like 1825.

It's always tough.

I mean, I get it. The bullpen is shaky, as is the early season Pats D. It's ingrained in us somehow to expect the worst.

All I would ask is to hold everyone else to the same standard.

Sox won the 7th most games all-time this season, and Pats were perhaps a 2-point conversion away from 4 straight Super Bowl appearances.

They are doing OK!

Didnt expect that.

Good grief, that team looks unstoppable. Feel as confident in them as I do the Warriors.

Fully expect them to win the WS in no more than 5 or 6 games
