Pick market is bizarre - is this the first five second rounder deal in league history

Picks will in the next 1-2 years become even more devalued as there will be 4-5 teams with crazy amount of picks ie Jazz/OKC/Nets/Raptors(potentially if they trade 2 guys)/DET could add more picks... edit: forgot the Spurs who got 3 firsts from ATL, 1 from us and 1 from the Raptors.. Many teams with LOTS of FRPs.
Good assessment:

PLO wrote:Tatum played OK - took advantage of a few mismatches - decent on the defensive end. He is what we thought he was going into the season - a technically very proficient player operating close to his career ceiling as a rookie.

Hmm, maybe my theory is correct. Seems like Muscala would probably fit into the Bol Bol TPE with Jackson going out. Unless I'm missing something.

Just give me one of those wings from Brooklyn, that's all I ask.

When Wyc said he told Brad to go for it at the deadline, Muscala is not what I envisioned he meant.

Wait... "per 75 possessions" is weird lol.

A lot of stats are tracked that way these days. Although I feel like that type of stat is usually more when looking at college players, since their games are shorter so less possessions per game..

But 100 possessions stats are a little odd since no player plays 100 possessions per game..

He is ****, it’s not a steal. Probably paid to promote the player. Saw him play against the warriors. He was completely trash

And? Crowder isn't good lol. He'll have one or two games where he goes 5-8 on threes and then be 2-9 in a playoff game when they actually need him

I'm guess there is some bigger reason why they got Muscala. I think because sending Jackson, the remainder can fit into the Bol Bol TPE. This means the other TPE is in play.

Oh, the irony that Wyc told Brad to "muscle up" and go for it this year, then Brad trades for Mike Muscala!
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

What I mean is that it's possible that some (or none) of those picks ever convey.

Muscala is who he is, dude will get a ton of open looks from Tatum. He’s definitely better than Kornet, but obviously he isn’t changing anything for us.

I’d like to see us make another move.

It feels like Brad isnt done trading yet. Got Muscala on a very cheap price and filled a need, even though it isn’t a really good one. I’d expect him to go after a defensive minded wing for the bench moving from Pritchard and/or Gallo

And he was great and outplayed AD two days ago vs the Lakers if we want to go off one game sample sizes.

He's not here to be a postseason difference maker. Just adds depth and is a 40% 3PT shooter so a solid 3rd or 4th big depending on the matchup making $3.5M. And they gave up nothing to add him. Solid move.
