Yup, and what is bizarre about this is American football fans have probably the biggest betting culture of any major sport outside of horse racing, which exists entirerly for gambling. Out of the four major American sports leagues (NHL, NBA, MLB and NFL) the NFL has a much larger % of their fans who bet on the games and out of their respective bettors the percentage with significant bets relative to paychecks must be much higher in the NFL.

And yet their fans are totally comfortable making crazy bets without understanding line blocking. Strange as hell if you think about it.

Abysmal start for Miami.

Very disappointing. They just completely mailed it in that quarter.

miami took 9 minutes to score their first field goal, they had been held to 1 point for the first nine minutes of the game

just absurd

The conference finals have been complete ass. East and West. Warriors comeback game 2 is literally the only highlight

I've found most series fairly interesting but there have been too many one-sided games for me. We just had a seven-game series with basically none of them going to crunch time, and both Game 7s so far have been massive blowouts.

It just seems like guys be consistently in and out of the lineups have thrown such a curveball into the rhythm of teams and flow of the series, for the whole playoffs really.

Heat have absolutely not been able to handle Rob Williams inside on either end and have really struggled to matchup around the perimeter.

Idk, Heat will probably outscore the Celtics by 15 in the 3rd the way things are going this year.

boston feels like the better team at its best, but they have been sloppy and put the series in hard mode to themselves, kinda like with the middleton-less bucks

otherwise they and warriors have looked the best of all teams in the playoffs, in that note, warriors ring odds probablt are better against miami than boston

the former feels like a clear warriors favorite 70/30 deal, the latter feels like it may actually be boston favored but i dunno

1 boston/warriors
2 heat/bucks (i believe they would have been first with khris)
3 grizzlies
4 dallas

Last year was fantastic and I've been enjoying this year two as meh as this round has been. I'm loving that there's no super teams and it's all one superstar teams going at it where we didn't know what was going to happen before the playoffs started. 4 different teams could've been reasonably picked as east champions (5 if you include Brooklyn) and at least 2 in the West (Arguments could've been made for Dallas, Memphis, and Utah plus the MVP was in Denver). Loving the current talent distribution in the league even if the conference finals hasn't been great so far.

Brooklyn and Utah were easy to spot frauds that werent gonna do **** and i was saying that before playoffs even started and theyd both get bounced 1st round months back. Denver had no shot of doing anything w/o Murray/Mpj. I agree with the rest tho

boston was really damn good against bucks tho, even without middleton that bucks team was legit chanpionship contender and probably better than the grizzlies (which played warriors really close even with morant injury)

dunno, i have just been really impressed with boston

although my hot take is that bucks lost this ring with middleton injury regardless of whether warriors, boston or miami wins

Boston literally has 3 DPOY-worthy players: Smart, Timelord and Horford.

is just me or for being in the highest scoring era in the league history, we are having a surprising amount of total defensive lockdowns this playoffs

many of the scores this year playoffs feel out of 2004 pistons

The disparity between how refs officiate the regular season versus how they do it in the playoffs has never been wider. Plus, certain teams and players with defensive reps are getting away with stuff that no other players do. It's like they're playing under different rules.
