No. I think Wojina is in court trying to explain why he took money for a book he never worked on. So it should be quiet.

February

I think he already did that when he collapsed 2 of their trades

I agree that it could get hairy. Their strategy does appear to be aimed at getting him to blink first and sign the extension.

If he lets it go to FA, he'll be perceived as the GM who let both Bosh and Anthony go for scraps, despite both players sharing their intentions of leaving way beforehand. That'd just be flat out bad management.

That's true. I just think they are still aiming to force him to sign the extension and the Nets are part of that strategy. If they have to take the Knick offer, they probably will.

It's like if it was accepted he was going to NY, Walsh does not need to help them out by taking back Harrington when he's already giving them a player.

My reasoning is every paragraph above that one. I believe it when it's reported that the Nuggets just may not be enamored by the Knicks players and might let him walk for a trade exception if it comes down to NY being the ONLY option.
They just might not like Gallo or Chandler at $8, $9, $10m or more in the next year and could choose cap space over those options.
The one scenario I see them taking back one of those options if they can shed themselves of Harrington.
I don't think the Nuggets want to try to rebuild with Harrington AND one of the Knicks forwards at a much higher salary than they have now.

No, if the Nuggets wanted to rid themselves of Harrington, they'd HAVE to take some players back.
Curry and Azubuike would be the start. Along with draft picks. Including Harrington would require some other players.
My point is, IF they're genuinely not big fans of Gallo or Chandler, they might not be willing to take them back knowing a big financial commitment is looming. HOWEVER, if they'd essentially be swapping Gallo or Chandler for Harrington, then maybe Nuggs consider it.
I think the camp that believe Denver will choose a Knick rather than get nothing back just can't not believe that the Nuggets wouldn't want one of those players back at the end of the day.
I think it's possible they don't.
