I'm wondering if Dwight is starting to realize that he's not the end all and be all here. He's been having awful games and we're still winning. I honestly think it must make him feel weird to want trades to awful teams when we are winning, and doing it basically without him. I mean don't get me wrong, he does open up shots etc, but if he were really beasting every game, which we should come to expect from the best center in the league, then we'd be blowing teams out. And at the same time, his argument to "win" really doesn't come into play here...want to go to NJ...oh wait they blow. Lakers? Sure, but I don't think we'll do straight Bynum...we'll need the Pau too...so that leaves an aging Kobe to help you? Sorry, but last years Mavs showed us that this is straight about playing as a team and getting contribution from all, not just a couple of superstars.

I have to believe the things going through his mind right now are a lot different then when the season first started. I'm proud of our guys for just going out and getting it done, not letting all this trade talk get to them.

What good is having Gortat if he is only going to play 10 minutes. Peaches, yea, we need his perimeter defense and long arms.

My bad, we don't need a backup center.

Anderson is doing what Lewis gave us in 2009 if not better. I think he is playing better defense, about the same shooting and Lewis cut to the basket a little bit quicker and better but not by much great win hope we can prove to dwight that is fu wanna win here u can do it. JJ should start and Duhon should start if we cant get a better PG to replace jameer
Fine print disclaimer for Fultz:
I am high on Markelle Fultz. Yes I understand he is not perfect and needs to shoot more and better and turn the ball over less. I would really like to see him play one more year… and I did and he sucks time to move on.

They are second rated best team in the clutch according to hollenger

Me too. "Tuurk!" is such a cool word to yell.

"Ryno!" or "JJ!" just doesn't cut it. I find myself just yelling "Yeaa!" or "Ohhh!" or "Woo!" something

People need to realize Dwight's value; his defense. When D12 is out of the game, teams just drive all day long.

His value on the offense is just a low post decoy against better low post defenses.

Somebody in the locker room should sucker punch Dwight and then just go "you see that, byotch? that's my winning culture!". I hope it's Ryan, that'd be hilarious! Hehehehe

Gortat is a starting center.

Man, this is great. Wish I could have watched it all. Am swamped at work because of a big event this weekend. Anyways, I am glad those 4 hours making a Game Thread was worthwhile. Plus, I got a template set for future threads. I am just a busy guy.

This is a great test for this team to beat a team like the Knicks on their home court. Huge. Tremendous. I can't wait to see this team play the Lakers, Heat or Dallas. Just to see how well they jell. Team Chemistry is getting better.

if jrich does not get his act together I say trade him by the deadline, because jj is proving he can fill the starter sg role.

I hope Jrich stays hurt for the entire season. Our starting sg scores 21 and only gives up 6. That's the kind of production I need.

Couldn't watch the entire game but glad it apparently improved over the first three and a half quarters. Dwight has just been having too many down games offensively this season, but he'll probably improve. Ryan and JJ really carried us this time, they combined for half of our points.

Not sure I just get rid of J-Rich because I want JJ to start. If J-Rich refuses to come off the bench or if there is a great trade available, then yes, I'd do it, otherwise, J-Rich off the bench.
