iunno man thinking about it, its probably best to punt assists unless you have the big guys like dwill, rondo, cp3, etc. because if youre facing them youre probably going to lose assists, especially if the other guy has other competent assist getters. just seems like an easy stat to give up on.

Can't believe you shot something between us from happening for Nene. We could have had something. Could have been something.

That's like saying you have to punt blocks if you don't have Ibaka or Dwight.

You can be well off in assists if you have good players in assists, it's just that if you need Rondo he can carry you along with one other above avg PG, whereas without him you might need 4.

Best way to make trades is too see how all teams are doing after 2-3 weeks and see what you're weak/strong in

I traded Nene away because the bigs i have already are better and rebound better, im pretty set on rebounds. Lillard makes it so i dont have to start jason **** richardson ever again (unless one of my guards isnt playing)

oh wow. thank you. I'm working with my pre ranked team as sexy as anyone. if I was available during the draft I'll be set with my line up and could've gotten a way better line up.

no my point is that its harder to come by assists + than most other categories.

because the whole point of building a team is that you dont want to waste value in categories you probably cant win.

when i was thinking about drafting my other league i figured everyone would be going for PGs because people **** love them for some reason (**** someone took rondo 3rd and jkidd in like the 5th round). so if i say **** it to assists then i can focus on building other categories and grab players that are helping me while everyone is bending over to grab assists which i think is too hard to build a team on if you arent getting guys like paul or dwill early.

i kinda feel the same way about blocks since you can target bigs that will give you a ton of value overall like monroe or lee.

idk what my point is anymore, but it made sense when i was drafting and thinking of building a team.

agree that the "best" way to go is focus on some cats since it's impossible to be better at all categories. problem is if you face someone with the same strategy with the same categories. it's stupid but I try to balance all as much as possible.

No it's true, blocks are probably toughest then assists, though this year there were even guys you could get late who rack up assists (Ridnour, Vasquez, Calderon, Miller etc)

Keep Metta one more game, we need to see his ballhandling without Nash

I'll leave if we find someone to take over my team

Having productive Bigs was what won it for me a year ago. Jamison, Love, Milsap, Iggy and Seraphin were huge. I was particularly good at points, rebounding, and steals. Average with assists, blocks, free throwing shooting, 3 point shooting and poor with FG%, TO's. I consistently lost with those categories almost weekly.

I'm taking the same approach this year and I hope to do exceptionally well on FG%, Blocks, Rebounding, Steals and average with points, TO's Free throw shooting and poor with 3pt shooting and assist unless I pick up another guard.

Coming across and picking up players along was huge for me, though. Because some keys guys went down, I was able to gamble on Seraphin, Dragic and Vasquez and had it pay out.

how can anyone take over your team? you giving them your account? give it to Lala or Riot. she's busy so give it to Steph Curry.

not sure. I'm confused. dropping in 3, 2, ...

Commish can give someone else control of the team, you can even have co-managers of one team on two accounts

There's a bunch of guys who don't respond to any messages I send them still, it's 16 teams so I expect half not to really be available, and I want one less league so I can focus on my other ones. I'm not one of those guys who likes playing 8 leagues at once (I only have 3 and wanna drop it to two)...

Worst part about fantasy is you watching every game on tv in fantasy terms

I want hermes to take over the non active GMs, not the active ones.

might as well put destro and Tycobb and Lala in there also.

Return to Los Angeles Lakers
