Any trade that doesn't address our biggest issue at SF is a nonstarter. We can replace Jennings in 2015 with a PG far better than Bledsoe by going after Dragic, we will still have capspace

It depends on how much the cap increases next year, how much we re up Greg for and whether or not we hold onto the 8 million of cap we have now or pull a Joe D and spend it just to spend it. Right now we only have around 37 million committed.

Yeah, too many variables can change between now and NEXT offseason. Way to early to judge.

if the league office allows Houston/Dallas to do a SnT for Parsons, the thought is Josh Smith is a possible target with the TPE generated from that.

Rather do Smith for Jones instead of Smith for the TPE.

Let's take it how we can get it... I'd like SVG to work his magic on J. Smith but if he can spend his energy in other places I'll be happy. I'm sure SVG can make J. Smith far superior to last years version but I'd rather start with a clean slate.

In order to trade for a TPE the player's salary must match to the dot from what i understand someone correct me if im wrong

Meaning Parsons 15M trade exception wont be eligible to be traded for Smith since he makes 13.5

Is that how it goes can someone confirm?

You are wrong, as long as the exception covers the entire incoming salary, a trade can be made

I wonder if SVG will make Monroe+ available in a deal for Love.

I would personally love to trade for Love.....but need him to commit long-term. Definitely not giving Monroe+ for him to pack his bags and leave in a year.

Pistons biggest need being sf and it seems as greg isn't either wanting to come back to the pistons so how about we get involved in the rumored trade with the suns and pacers
Detroit out moose s&t to pacers will Bynum to the suns singler to pacers
India Hibbert to the suns lance Stephenson to pistons s&t
Suns dragic to pacers Morris to pistons
Just a thought does it seem to be in left field
Lance and moose both do 4 yr 60 million deals

Bucks want to move Ilyasova. Would Detroit want him after a bad season?

I don't know. I don't think it's quite complicated and convoluted enough.

I'd do a sign and trade Monroe to the Bucks for Ilyasova but they'd have to include next years 1st round pick.

No to trading for Stephenson. I don't want him here to start, and wouldn't want to help the Pacers either.
