Really sad that we couldn't get Vuc a shot in the 4th. The coach looked like a rookie there.

he's not really that far off of being a rookie

It's our 7th game of the season...

I know but you can't have your best player go for 17pts in the 3rd and then bench him for half of the 4th and then get him zero shots (I think) the rest of the way. That's terrible.

Elfrid looked like he struggled to get out of bed today.

Waiting for Oladipo.

I fear that a certain level of lateral quickness runs in the Frye/Harris bloodline.

I'm kind of mad about this one because I feel this game should have been a win. I don't blame this lose on our youth or anything like that which probably played a big factor in the other loses, this was all JV here. If he hadn't rode bench players too long and actually had the offense run through our best player in the 4th, I feel this would have been a win, or at the very least a close loss.

We have the victory sweater vest after wins and vote for who the player of the game was. Can we have a Defeated Dirty Diaper thread when we lose so we can beatch about Vaughn, er I mean who the worst players were??????

We'll have our bench unit out there and for some reason Vaughn will act like it's okay as long as they have a 2 point lead or down by one or two possessions. That kind of logic is stupid. It's like he has no understanding of building a lead.

This is his 3rd season no? He's not the coach we need at this point.

I'm not mad at Harris's defense on Joe Johnson. But Aaron Gordon played him to a draw, and coach went with Tobias instead. He's also in a contract year and we expect more.

Most of us understand that Payton isn't going to shut down the league's strongest position in his rookie season. Not to mention half those highlights on FSFL were against Willie Green.

Anyway, there's plenty of blame to go around on defense. Evan on Bogdanovic, rebounding, etc. No need to fight.

So far Fournier has been our most consistent player. He's been outstanding.

I expect EP to get toasted in some games. Oladipo got toasted many times in his rookie year with fouls and the like. Tobias is fighting for a big contract and his defense is just lazy. Harden-level.

No shots and only 6 minutes in the 4th for Vucevic is dumb.

Vaughn would be a horrible casino player. He constantly overplays lineups that overachieve and then presses his luck by keeping them in 3-4 minutes too long and all the good work is negated and we're playing from 0-0 again. Benches build the lead for your starters, you don't sit players 10 minutes especially if they've been playing good. Armchair coaching but it's common sense.

Biggest Negatives today:

Vucevic sitting 10 minutes in second, 6 mins in 4th and not getting the ball.
Elfrid didn't play well on offense (turnovers, shooting) but had a nice give and go game with Vucevic in the 3rd.
Frye got wrecked on rebounds and second chance points but played well offensively.
TOBIAS TOBIAS TOBIAS. Awful, hard shots. Can't hit any threes and made very costly turnovers at bad times. Couldn't stay in front of his man today.
Fournier didn't play great defense either but was good offensively.
Bench was good but again, stayed way too long - Green and Ridnour started to hurt us defensively and when we were feeding Willie Green in the 4th with 5 minutes to go, you know it'll be hard to win.

I'm kind of mad about this one because I feel this game should have been a win. Agreed Agreed. This one hurt. Definitely winnable game. JV hurt us bad.

we are always at a disadvantage with JV as head coach, we can't change that now..i expect nothing but mediocracy from him..i look at it like, well we had a chance despite him

I couldn't agree more!
Lack of a defensive effort on our part, lazy shots taken to quick in the clock and of course we were out coached again!!!

Does anyone have George Karls email address?

This should have been a winn! :banghead: :banghead: :nonono: :nonono: :nonono:

If you run offense through your best players and lose then there is no problem with this loss.
Yet when you have willie and Tobias jacking jumpers at will then you do everyone a disservice by not reigning it in as a coach. The ball should have went through Vuc every possession.
