Nets got what they wanted in the end. Now a year from now (or earlier) they can say adios.

Kyrie should threaten to leave if hes not given supermax 4 yr. Go to lakers for title plz and teach Curry lessons.

Are they? How many games are you assuming Kyrie plays?

They can now trade him as an expiring instead of losing him for nothing. That's a win.

They didn’t fold for Kyries bluff. Kyrie obviously wanted to leave but he wasn’t able to scare the nets into trading him for Westbrook.

Definitely, the FO finally stood up to Kyrie and it's about time.

Money talks loud enough for all to hear.

Huh Kyrie could easily leave he doesnt care abt being corporate slave. He just stayed to not betray his bf and maybe marks cried for being rude.

Big win for the Nets. Nobody wanted Irving.

He'd rather collect that extra $30M than play with LeBron.

At the end of the day, I'm not entirely sure I can blame him (green is good, and if Nets get it together, they may actually be able to challenge for a title next season).

Still -- Lebron + AD + Kyrie would have been a formidable trio. Waive RW.

Woj has been really unreliable lately. He was reporting Orlando would take Jabari Smith until 30 seconds before they took Banchero. And all day he and Windhorst were saying Kyrie was out and the Nets were blowing up.

0% chance the Nets look to trade him now.

You think they are going to get more value at the deadline?

Nets to Irving: Go find your own S&T suitors then, "co-GM and owner"

Suitors: *crickets*

Irving: "...dare to be different!"

*blinks first and opts in*

Turnip.

Nope, and that's why they're going to keep him.

Its better to take the money and riot so he gets traded for RW. RW is best friends with kd so they can reunite a win a ring. No reason for Kyrie to be desperate when he can go to any team when ever he wants. I want everyone traded for mavs too.

Definitely a chance they trade him. First good offer and he's gone. They didn't need to kick him while he was down with the Woj tweet but they did anyway.

I don't think this was the desired result for Sean Marks and the Nets. They'll probably still look to move him.

Open your third eye mannnn! The chakras aligned for him to stay in Brooklyn ie he saw his minimal trade market and how much of a pay cut he’d have to take for the Lakers MLE.
