The projection is next level. There's 0 Herro stans on this board, and there's 1 Bam stan, and I don't even mean it in the pejorative sense because AirP was a Jimmy stan but still a quality poster. But have some self awareness.
He probably can't control it. One of those "voices" in one's head situations. The previous page where it was being discussed how Bam wouldn't last one quarter against prime Shaq somehow had to have Herro be brought into it. That was textbook schizophrenia with a little paranoia and manic depression mixed in.

Glad more people are coming to their senses. DeRozan rumors should be pissing Heat fans off not enabling it and trying to defend what a great idea it is when it’s clearly not. Clutch Points came up with the damn rumor who the phuck are they to be taking it as if it’s real. I think they are just rehashing old news for hits.

Exactly lol we’re trying to see what we’ve got right now with someone who fits that same description and expecting a lot of money too. Don’t need to add to it

Lmfao!!!! At this point trade Bam so I can prove I’m a Heat fan over a Bam fan. It’s funny the label I get for defending our franchise player. Trade him, it’s best for all parties involved because the FO isn’t going to build a contender.
I can name several Herro Stan’s, I just had a back and forth with one of them. Show me where I’ve ever said Bam is top 10 and/or untouchable. Talk your **** if you want but don’t put words in my mouth.
Hey I believe you when you say Heat fan first, but the point is if you want to pretend there's Herro stans on this board you have to look in the mirror. Just because people don't think he's absolute trash and there might be something to salvage out of his career doesn't make them a stan. He's still regularly looked at as the most movable chip on this roster, and I haven't seen a single poster say "pay the man" with regards to his extension, which I would expect out of a stan.
Does Bam get disrespected or underappreciated sometimes, absolutely, but there's not this invisible Herro army doing it, its Heat fans just bitter that nobody on the current roster could hold prime Wade's jockstrap (or Zo if I'm being honest about it). And they get frustrated and take it out on the guys who are being forced into roles they're not cut out for, Tyler as a #1 option, Bam as a centerpiece/#2 option. Instead of appreciating them for what they are, which imo is good players that could fit into a championship roster if it was built properly and we actually had a centerpiece (please no 37 year old KD though).

I still don’t see the Spurs going after Durant. Think they’ll end up dealing Barnes and 14th pick to BK for Cameron Johnson. Just don’t see them flipping a bunch of salary for Durant’s contract. They don’t have all the bulk expiring’s like we have.

Going to be a lot of shake up over the next couple years around the league , let’s hope they can get that guy. Sooner rather than later but beggars can’t be choosers

If people just took a second and try to work the numbers on some of these rumors you would see most of the time it’s just noise. Durant to the Spurs sounds sexy and gets a lot of media hits until you realize the Spurs have to match that 55 million dollar contract that’s going to cost them players like Vassell, Johnson, and Barnes. Why would the Spurs even consider that on their timeline? There better off just flipping the older Barnes and his expiring for the younger Cam Johnson who’s locked into a good deal.

Re: 2025 Offseason Season Thread Vol. 1
Taking bias out of the equation and looking at it from the Spurs' perspective, trading for Kevin Durant makes a lot of sense if they have a clear No. 1 option in Wemby while only giving up the 14th pick this year.
The Spurs clearly need to fill the PF spot, and with Wemby's favorite player being KD, that could also be a factor in bringing him to San Antonio. If I were the Spurs, I'd go all-in, especially with their main players still on rookie contracts (Castle, Wemby, Harper).
Wemby
Durant
Castle
Harper
Fox
From KD's perspective, he could simply focus on basketball without the outside pressure in San Antonio. He'd play as the second option, with no need to carry the team or be the savior at this point in his career. It feels like the kind of move KD would make.

I’d prefer the core of Castle, Harper, Wemby, and Fox over the Bam and Herro duo, which hasn't shown much promise for the future.

But like i was saying. It’s a lot more complicated than just the 14th pick. Does it make sense if it cost them 3 players they could use in future trades for a much younger option? Work the checker and try to match that Durant salary. It’s starts not to make so much sense.

Vassell/Johnson are included purely for salary-matching purposes, there's no need for all three players. A deal could also work with just Vassell and Barnes, depending on who the Suns prefer. Honestly, the 14th pick alone this year is already more valuable for the Suns.

Why in the world are the Spurs trading a 24 year old Vassell and the 14th pick for a 37 year old Durant? Makes no damn sense on there timeline. If they were trying to flip that as part of a Giannis package i get. Not Durant.

Funny how the 'Kevin Durant is old' card always gets pulled out when it's another team involved
But seriously, why on earth would we give up a 21-year-old Jovic still not in his prime for a 37-year-old Durant?" Make no damn sense on our timeline.
