I don't see Evans or Turner falling to 4. Wall will be the top pick obviously (despite plenty of sports sites trying their hardest to convince us that there is a chance someone else will be picked). Favors and Turner will most likely be picked 2nd and 3rd (in no order) based on need. The only team I feel that wants Turner ahead of Favors is Utah. I'm not sure who Philadelphia and Washington would pick, but I guess that's because I don't know what there going to do before the trade deadline.

I could see Wes Johnson or Henry going ahead of Turner. That makes some sense for a team with a ball dominant point guard like Utah.

DX finally acknowledged Darington Hobson by linking to this article in a tweet: http://msn.foxsports.com/cbk/story/Good ... son-010610

Now if they'd just get the guy a damn profile.

Somehow, I didn't know about this guy. I love him already. Thanks for heads up.

I just wish he was on TV more often. He'd be a nice consolation prize if Turner's gone before we pick/or we pick Henry or Johnson over Turner. His court vision really surprised me, although it seemed to surprise his teammates as well in the games I saw.

Let's hope so. But I'm sure if he impresses in his pre-draft workouts he'll go #3.

Anyone catch Turner playing against the Gophers today? If so, how'd he look? He had great stats, but obviously that doesn't tell the whole story. Did he look affected by the injury still? He seems to be getting a lot of burn way earlier than many of us thought he would.

He's a beast, but his team sucks, that's why he gets double and triple-teamed the hell out of him, hence the turnovers, he would even better if he didn't have to play at pg and could look to score first and pass second, too bad they don't have a passable pg to make it happen. Evan should bolt to NBA this summer and not hold stupid hopes of competing for title with OSU next year, that team is too poorly constructed and incoming super freshmen not gonna help them.
With that said, I didn't watch the game :D

Does anyone think he can play off the ball? Because if the plan is to bring over Rubio he'd probably have to.

There's a nice thread on CanisHoopus summing up Turner's performance against the Gophers. If it's clear that the injury has no long term effects then I think he is the perfect fit for us. He makes up for a lot of Flynn's shortcomings on offense and would definitely help shore up our perimeter D.

I'm pretty torn between wanting him and Wall. Obviously Wall would be amazing but his presence creates a lot of personnel problems (admittedly good problems to have, but problems nonetheless). Whereas, Turner would fit in seamlessly and would fill a huge need for us.

I picture him fitting in the triangle where his ability to create offense would be more important than Rubio/Flynn's. But in a traditional offense I think his jump shooting would need some improvement. He would be great as a slasher/finisher but think his spot up shooting could use some work. If we could find a light's out shooter at the 3 to pair with him, we would have one of the most versatile offenses in the league.

If Wall is available with our pick, it's not even a question, we have to take him.

I meant getting the #1 pick (Wall) or the #2-4 pick (Turner) b/c obviously Wall is the #1 pick.

Let's face it. Wall won't come here. We'll get the 2nd pick in the draft and have to draft Derrick Favors because he's clearly the 2nd best player in the draft (and trade him and a future 1st for #3 Evan Turner who misses half of his career due to injuries.

I can see it coming.

Favors is so DAMN raw and far away from being a good nba player it's laughable.

I've seen him play 4 x now this year. He's pretty brutal, has no offensive package, and outside of 3-4 feet literally has nothing. He's a GOOD athlete, but close to the level of an Amare, not even in his league really.

Favors seriously strugles with getting fouls, and he looks very indecisive and has no real go to post moves whatsoever. He's a long term project who will need 4-5 years to realize his potential if he gets there or not is another question.

I'd be shocked if he goes top 3 at this point, He's gonna slide down a little bit, to 4-6, nothing dramatic someone will love his potential. But that's all he really is at this point is a "potential" player, some team may have to wait A LONG time on this kid to arrive, if he does.

I'd take Turner 10 x out of 10 over this dude, and I hope Kahn thinks the same way, i'm sure he does though.

Ekpe Udoh had a nice Big 12 debut yesterday, with 14 points, 8 boards and 7 blocks. He might be the best fit in the draft when it comes to finding that third big that complements Al and Love. He blocks shots, boards, and can knock down a jumper.

^Agreed. He's also apparently one of those players that brings more to the team then what shows up on the scoreboard and that includes off the court.
