Maybe he's practicing some, getting his shot down, in case he has to do a workout here. After all, his videos are old and mostly against high school quality kids that can't jump more than 6" off the court, when they defend.

Marcus Smart has a second workout scheduled here, I've read. What a great sign!!

clearly there is a defined line between joe shmoe scouting(watching youtube videos) and professional "fly out to see the prospect" type scouting.

I love all these people... ZOMG Smart has a 2nd workout and Exum none!!!1!! Yes, it's June 2. It's still over 3 weeks before the draft. Exum will get his workout, and probably and 2nd long before the draft. Just relax (is that possible around here?) and enjoy the wait.

Henny only wants players that want to be here and I think Smart has shown that. Exum not so much.

As for the Magic, he envisions helping his close friend Victor Oladipo—they met at Indiana during Exum's recruiting visit when he was contemplating college—with point guard duties.

"They’re having some point guard problems and they’re trying to get Victor Oladipo into the point guard," he said. "Also, having a good relationship with Victor, I think that would be a good fit. He could kind of mentor me a bit coming into the point guard."

Smart is hungry and out trying to prove everyone wrong!!! What is Exum doing?

Do you see Parker or Wiggins working out for specific teams yet? Patience...

No, but Parker recently worked out in front of NBA anaylists n other people. It was tweeted everywhere.

Wiggins has worked out in front of people and there is that tweet of him hanging from that beam.

Nobody has hardly even seen Exum as it seems like his agent is keeping him hidden. It is like Exum's agent is afraid of letting anyone see anything about Exum.

It was just explained to you but here you go with your conspiracy theories again

I think if you put McGee back then, he would get those blocks just as easily as Russell did. Russell's athleticism was well ahead of the players of his time, and that's about it.

I'am not sure it was even this bad last year with Noel... but i could be wrong

I would like to make a poll: Who has BMP trashed more: Exum or Noel?

This board has gotten insufferable with all of this lately. Can't wait til the draft is over.

Wait what? Exum has said he'd be happy playing here with Victor, where are you getting he doesn't want to be here?

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1939 ... sie-phenom

"So which teams could use Exum? While Livingston said "really any team because he has so much talent and so much upside," Exum has two in mind: the Lakers and Orlando Magic."

There was a quote from his mouth that I can't find atm that he'd love to play with Victor. Honestly people just make **** up. Which reminds me, wasn't there some worry last year that Smart went back to school because he knew Orlando would draft him? I remember people saying that... not me because I have no idea what the guy was thinking. These kids will play where they get drafted. If Henny does a good job and the team is winning, they will stay, if not they will leave. It's that simple.

I have my reservations about Exum, but I don't think he will be a horrible pick at 4 and he does bring some interesting potential. It's always tough trying to judge international prospects, but this kid does have some game and his first step is ridiculous. What I find so funny is people actually getting upset with Exum/Smart debate and truthfully either choice would be wonderful. They both bring things to our team that can help us and both have really good and bright upside.

Show me a quote where Smart specifically says he wants to play here. Cos I can show you where Exum has done so.

So on one hand we've got people blaming Exum for preserving his Draft status, yet championing Smart for doing multiple workouts. Anyone think that maybe if Smart had good representation he would've been smart enough to declare last year and go #1 or #2, and he wouldn't be working like a dog trying to prove his worth now?

I guess he didn't make the Smart choice after all...

You're not as good at this as BMP. I'd leave it to him and try to find your own lane.

You cant win. The Exum haters will just respond to that and say "how dare he presume to know what the Magic need! Exum is arrogant!"

I trashed Noel more. I wanted absolutely nothing to do with Noel at all costs.

As far as Exum, I am not opposed to drafting him if Henny decides to do so. I just prefer to not take on a long term project which means this team sucks for another year.

This year, I may be arguing more out of boredom of nothing else exciting to argue about regarding the Magic.

We are going to suck next year whether we get Exum or Smart. According to Henny (unless an unbelievable deal comes along) we're not going to jump steps in our organic growth plan. We'll improve, but we're not going to be good.

Drafting Smart won't make us good or turn us into a contender - just like Exum won't either.

I agree with BMP....either Exum or Smart would be an upgrade, as long as it's Hennigans pick.
Personally, I am sick and tired of 10 years of Jameer Nelson. ...thank god there's light at the end of the tunnel, finally

At least the Magic get to experience a PG with size for a change regardless if either one turns out to be Reece Gaines or Penny! 8-)
