Like what he brought to the table as well especially on the defensive end. He has very good lateral quickness on that end. He took a few bad shots but I appreciate his aggressive nature and he has a really quick release on his jumper. Once he settles down, I really can see him have some big games for us down the stretch.

Really wouldn't mind him as our SG moving forward. He is actually willing to make the extra pass and can get his own shot way better than Fournier could. My hope is somehow Mario supplants Evan as the starting SF and they play Evan off the bench to see how that dynamic works.

If we miss out on the top PGs from the draft, I want us to sign Patty Mills. Plays really fast and is deadly from 3

It's going to be a rough 23 games before this season is over. Before the season, I was told I was wrong on Hennigan. One user even offered to get me they'd make the playoffs and that if they were wrong, they'd delete their account. I should've taken that bet.

This is an unmitigated disaster of a rebuild.

Atleast Mario woke up from his slumber and Ross looked good despite the bad fg%. Ross atleast give us the most athletic SG we've had in years.

I'm excited about this team again. Finally!

Well, maybe not excited, but interested. Play Hezonja. Play Ross. See what these young guys can do. Go 0-24 the rest of the way.

This ain't about making the playoffs, it's about making top-3 in a super strong draft. Make Magic Great Again.

Hopefully AG doesn't get too frustrated with Ross coming in and automatically having the green light. 17 fga in his first game... AG's only hit that mark three times this season after being made to believe he's on Paul George's level over the summer. I thought AG looked really good at PF... he was back to hustling his ass off instead of standing around the perimeter. I'd like to see him get more opportunity now that he's facing bigger, slower guys, but just having his hustle production to lean on is nice. As for Ross, he'll obviously need to do better than 4-17, but I liked his aggressiveness and how effortlessly he was able to get 3pt shots off. He can make those, so we'll see how it goes over time. Liked his passing and energy on defense. Vogel needs to stop letting Fournier be star playmaker at the end of games... it is oladipo all over again. But hey, we need the loss, so not really bothered at this point.

Still amazes me that some people think Vuc and Fournier is too much to give for Boogie but those same people are ready to gut the team for George. It doesn't even bother them George said he wants to play for a contender and probably hits the free agency at the same time as Boogie.

Vuc and Fournitrash too much for Boogie LMAO.

I have not had any interest on this team last 2 months but tonight I was interested and i cared. If we can play more 4 small guys and one big lineups it will make this terrible team more watchable and interesting. Give us something interesting please. This has been the most uninteresting Magic year since the late 90s.

Im not worried about the FG% at all from Ross. It was his first game with the team and I fully expect that to go up as he gets accumulated with the team. He was missing some really good looks. I want to see Ross move into Fourniers playmaking role. You can tell Ross's passing vision and iq is already miles ahead of Fourniers. Fournier will only pass to his boyfriend as well. Ross was distributing to everyone. I think he is going to be a really good player for us. I love his demeanor and attitude as well.

Fun game to watch. Still don't understand the ISO ball of Vuc and Fournier. And DJ to a lesser extent.

AG had a pretty big impact beyond the stats. Thought he was helping at the rim really well. Good sign for his first game st the 4.

Nobody is going to hand AG the reigns and let him be an offensive option. He needs to show it more by himself. Start making more shots and demanding the ball more. Your teammates will give you the ball if you are making and looking for your shots. But AG is just too passive.

Good to hear Mario and AG played well. Also nice to hear Ross is a willing passer. A lot of positives to take away from this game, at least it sounds like that.

Glad to see Ross played well, albeit missing some easy ones. If he continues to get the opportunity & the responsiblity he got tonight then he'll be a 20 ppg player

You may be right on with that one. He got 13 on a woeful shooting night.

Piston fans are calling for his head right now. If Im DET I would just shut him down for the rest of the year. He is clearly playing injured and its just aggravating his knees if this keep up.

Nah...this is classic Magic over the last few years. They are horrible at closing out games. This was textbook.

Yeah I think T-Ross will be an 18ppg, 5-6 assist type guy. I love that he was given the opportunity to guard Dame in the 4th Q and did an admirable job. Quite a few of his looks went in and out or he would've score 6-8 more points. Frenchie plays no defense and is tunnel vision on offense. Vooch solid as always. EP not sure if he has a drug problem or what but he it totally disengaged for weeks at a time. It's very strange. I think EP cost us the game in the crunch with his lax D on Dame. It was a 7 point swing as soon as he came into the game. He needs to demand the ball and run the offense...the Iso garbage with fournier should not be allowed if you are the Point Guard. I don't care if they get in a fist fight at practice. If EP is gonna stick in this league he needs to let go of that beta stuff or lay of whatever it is that makes him so stonerish...

I know it doesn't mean too much but the +/- difference between Jackson and Ish is incredibly drastic. -14 for RJ vs. +20 for Ish.
