Your posts would be taken more serious/have less backlash if you didn't show up when we lose or get blown out or when Paolo has bad games lol
Actually, said these things well before they were “good” and if I kept pointing out flaws in Paolo’s game when they were winning I’d be criticized even more—it’s a no win when you’re a critical fan…
It’s the kryptonite of the organization to be fair—they want to build a team around character and selflessness… Tell me the last team that won a championship with that “mantra”… Either your a team with a top 10 player or two, or you have a team of pit bulls (Pistons)… The Magic don’t have either and realizing that is accepting that this is a high win regular season team that won’t produce in the playoffs…

lol, tried to be quiet? you mean just waiting until Orlando lost, which took longer because the team is better.
also, you dont go from lottery to winning multiple playoff series winners. so they make the playoffs and get swept? big deal, every young team has growing pains. Giannis didnt make it out of the 1st round until his 4th playoffs.

Disappointing loss but can’t overact on this game. We played like crap and Bos was hyped up due to the numerous losses against us. Still we are a young team that has stuff to work on and the front office over the summer needs to add more 3pt shooting.

I don’t know which makes me more upset, the loss or the fact that Howard Mass didn’t make his customary post.

We very rarely get stinkers from Franchero.

I know we blew out Indiana when they had 3-4 days' rest. We just need to find a rhythm.

Random numbers - Tatum and Brown combined for 48 points on 2-11 3PT shooting, Paolo and Franz for 31 pts on 2-9 3PT shooting, we shot 40% overall and made 14 3pts. So our 3pt shooting wasnt the problem offensively, missing all those layups and turnovers was.
Goga for his supposed defensive shortcoming was -1 on +/- for 27 minutes. Banchero was -13 in 32 minutes.
There were plenty of things wrong today, but at the end if Franz and especially Paolo had better games, we could have won it, even without going into discussions about defensive failings.

It’s so funny that whenever Orlando loses a game the same 3-4 posters come out talking about Fultz like he would have even done anything tonight. The back court shot amazingly well and Paolo/Franz just had terrible games turning the ball over a zillion times. Goga and the bigs weren’t good defensively either.
Read the room. If anything he would have sped the game up and provided nothing outside comparable to what Black and Suggs did tonight.

If Fultz got the 16 minutes Harris played, we would've been better off. I think he should replace him in the rotation.

Suggs really is a winner. So glad he was able to come back into the game.

Harris is in the worst shooting slump he's been in since the Magic acquired him (still shooting 36% 3PT) and you're suggesting the Magic would benefit by going back to the proven to be horrific pairing of Fultz/Cole?
C'mon now.

I agree in principle with you, although taking the ball from Banchero and Franz hands tonight could have won us the game.
Also Ingles played 6 minutes, we looked lost defensively and he didnt play any more... but we continued to look lost, maybe he could have played a bit more at the price of better offense.

Amazed at all the anti-Mo sentiment. He’s been great and a big reason why we are where we are.

This is what it looks like when you don’t have a reliable backcourt scoring threat.
ORL is good but at least one more solid guard who can create is needed to be a real playoff problem. Cole is good in his role but you need more from our PG spot. Suggs is exempt due to his elite defense….Derrick White is, by far, the least formidable starter for BOS, but he’d be our best guard, due to his 2-way play. He’s an excellent example of what we lack…a versatile, reliable combo guard who will average mid-teens in scoring, but will occasionally go for 25 when the defense offers him the opportunity. Not a star, but big enough to not get bullied (like Brown was doing), quick enough to stay with PGs, able to handle and reliably crush open 3’s.
This wasn’t revealed tonight-it’s been apparent…just displayed very clearly in a big game.
Also, Isaac is great. Mo Waggs is a great 11th man. Admiral makes Chuma look polished- I still don’t know what he is. Goga is good enough to hold the spot for now but wouldn’t preclude me from drafting a big athlete- the kid on BOS looked perfect…whoever he is. I’m ready to see what we do with WCJ. I don’t care for the body language and the constant whining about non-calls from Paolo & Franz or PB going to sit by himself and pout at the end of the bench. Be a leader and a warrior- like Suggs.

In the mid-range he can score and get himself some easy buckets to stop runs. I would prefer Mosley take the handcuffs off of Black but that doesn't look like it's going to happen. The starting 5 to start the season was good too.. people forget that.. I want to see it again for a while. It's a win-win because if Fultz can string some games together he'll be easier to trade than just kicking him to the curb when there isn't a need to.
You're talking about things Fultz was individually good at *last year* though.
It's a limited sample size, but early on this year Markelle was quite bad in the midrange and saw his already very poor FT and 3PT rates somehow drop to worst guard in the league level bad.
I'm just not sure what he really solves. The defense will be worse. The spacing will be worse. And you're willingly taking the ball out of Paolo and Franz's hands by replacing a guy who doesn't dribble much with a guy who dribbles all the time?
I just don't see the point. And I say that knowing Fultz absolutely is going to return to the starting lineup the moment he's heathly.
You use that sample size but don't include how Franz, Paolo, Suggs, and Carter were all shooting under 40% during those 4 games.
It's not good to preface Fultz struggling to shoot during that time when we had Banchero threads saying he wasn't a star player during that time either.

Just as entertaining that there is also a small cabal of posters who take every chance available to tell those posters (and everyone else) why Fultz wouldn’t have and that he’ll always be the worst basketball player since Michael Scott.
