Eberle really reminds me of Zach Parise; small, speedy, crafty and explosive. Paajarvi on the other hand is so strong on the puck, he loves to drive to the net, he's got great hands and he's pretty fast.

If they can finally get some big names signed (especially on the back end) they'll be incredible in two years. They have to starting contending before Hall/Eberle/Paajarvi's contracts are up, though. Once all the big long term contracts start setting in, it gets too hard to stay a top team unless you get some bargains. That's where the Habs are stuck right now.

Ya hopefully the young guns will attract some bigger name players. We really need some help on the blueline and a long term solution in net.

Also Kurtis Foster has looked really good in a Oilers Uni, he's looking like one of the biggest steals of the offseason.

Looking forward to see the Oilers tomorrow night. Not like you hear much about him in the US. A lot of young talent. Still a ways off, but the foundation is starting to form.

Thats a problem every team wishs they had. Best goalie tandom in the league, no questions asked.

I loved the chants too that was great. I still can't believe that Burke defends that deal, I still remember when that deal went down and Burke said the pick wasn't important because the Leafs were going to be in the playoffs.

Minnesota played a fantastic game against Washington tonight. Did not let them get anything going shot wise and had a great flurry midway through the 2nd where they were pressuring Washington's defense for a good three minutes.

Backstrom made some huge saves. Only goal allowed was to Ovechkin with a lot of traffic in front when the Caps were desperate with like 1:30 left.

Sadly because of the bruins cap problems (Savard and Sturm coming back from long term IR). One of them might have to go. And that one would be thomas.

Selling him while his stock is high isn't the worst thing that could happen.

It was a great game last night, high scoring no dull moments. Hall, Eberle and Paajarvi were all outstanding and they were the reason we won that game.

Horrendous Blackhawks defense certainly helped

Not really. Works better for Boston because Thomas is older.

Having that situation in Montreal was a nightmare. It got us far but having to choose between Price and Halak for every game must've been the biggest pain in the ass for management.

Oilers just put Jeff Deslauriers on waivers. I'm guessing someone will claim him, never understood why we started the season with 3 goalies.

Apparently its because Briere is a repeat offender.

Dear Versus,

I get plenty of Wild games on FS North. Put Predators games on Versus since the only chance I get to watch them is if they play the Wild on FS North.

Dear twirlz,

No one in their right mind wants to see the boring ass Predators, not even Nashvillians. So why subject the rest of the country to them?

Versus

Dear Versus,

Nobody wants to watch the Wild either, so why not put the better team on?

P.S. Suck my balls, I'm tired of seeing the Rangers and Flyers.

Dear twirlz,

Last season, the Wild were 8th in local viewership for games. I would inform you where the Predators fall in the league, but they didn't released their s***ty local ratings.

Tim Thomas let up 2 tonight, maybe he's cooling off, or maybe not, as he did make an amazing save. Anyway, the team is still going strong. 7-0-0 under Thomas. 7-2-0 on the year.

Can't say I expected them to do this good out of the gate without savard.
