I have said it from the jump just give up Wilson and Landry and AR and whatever it takes just not all 3 of Gallo/Wilson and Fields unless we get Hilario with Melo but any combo of 2 of the 3 for Melo and i am in but it does not matter what i think

Who cares about if he's a troll, the Knicks did get beat badly.

Lets move forward, because soon, either this year or next year, we are going to be an elite team (WITH Melo', so whatever people say now, who cares.

AR made a 3. That value is at a season high. And he made a nice move to the basket. He missed but not many 6'11 players can do the euro step lay up move and look good doing it.

This lack of Melo news is really getting depressing, lol. But I do have a feeling we will get them.

The way Gallo's playing off late, if we can add Melo to the mix for say, Fields and Chandler: Melo Amare Felton Gallo would be a pretty formidable 4 punch that would make us good for a long while... if we can hold onto Fields, even better.... but if they come asking for Fields, Chandler, AR Curry Azu I think I do it, and I think Donnie does it as well (which he probably already has tried if that report was true)...

Perhaps things are being held up by Denvers interest in Gallo and ours in not giving him up... I could see MDA willing to part with Chandler/Fields, but drawing the line at Gallo...

here's a question - would you deal Gallo if you could hold onto both Fields and Chandler? Or would you rather force Chandler and Fields in order to hold onto Gallo..

Does: Felton Gallo Melo Amare Moz even make sense position-wise as a lineup

Honestly, I would go for a top PG or C at this point. More like the PG. Not that any is available.

Yes, we have to keep Gallo. He's looking better and better with his new slashing mindset. I like Fields, but realistically, he may end up a part of the trade.

I think better question is.....when we get Melo who would compliment him the most?

Gallo was drafted for D'antoni.

I really doubt Walsh would deal him for Melo unless he was forced to as a condition of the trade.

If those assclowns in Denver opt to trade Melo to Dallas for a lesser package than what NY could offer, then they deserve what they get. Dallas has NOTHING that Denver should want for Melo:

1) No surplus of young talent
2) NO valuable picks
3) No massive cap relief

NOTHING...

I hope they do make a deal with Dallas so that they can assume the laughingstock title vacated by the knicks. Dumbasses.... :nonono:

there's nobody off limits except amare & felton. if denver wants gallo instead of chandler he's gone. if they want fields he's gone. it's giving up more then one that's a problem for walsh.

Why is Felton off the limits? He sucks.

Yep great competition just like the Nets but without the assets. Anyone see what i just did?

they have expiring and young player?

its not a lot, but i think the time to overpaying is gone

Let's be honest here.

If Rodrique Beaubois was a Knick he'd be considered one of the most overrated young players in the NBA (see Anthony Randolph). That he's "playing" (technically he's not) for a top team and not in NY changes that how? And yet the Legend of Beaubois keeps going, no thanks to a owner that obviously knows how to sell his stuff (that's how he made money...getting people to buy overpriced things that realistically they can get elsewhere for MUCH cheaper).

But once again, I'll say this, Denver would be hurting themselve more than either Melo or the Knicks if they shortchange themselves out of spite. Melo will eventually get what he wants (either by becoming a FA or re-upping with Dallas in this case). NY will still have capspace and flexibility to continue to improve. Denver? Not so much.
