Aaargh!

This is another guy I mentioned about a year or two ago.

Just so everybody knows where I am coming from, this gets old seeing guys that could help blowing up everywhere but Washington. Is he better than Booker? I would say yes. I think he just got hurt when he was with OKC. I liked him at Indiana. He's an offensive talent the Wizards could use.

Orlando and NJ are playing.

I want to get my first look at Harper and see what he looks like in a game. The kid has only play 1 minutes so far in two games. Hopefully this is a blow out so he gets some burn.

Brooks. So far 19 mins 17 pts. Looking very Nickish.

Green light shooter after only 3 games. The kid is not shy.

duhon, redick, glen davis, quentin richardson, von wafer, earl clark are all nba-caliber guys and they've got the 2nd rounder i really like in justin harper. it's just a shame that none of them play center.

OK, I don't think I will be watching many Lakers games this season. I frickin can't stand the announcers actually referring to Artest as "Metta World Peace". That's just too stupid for words. I don't care if he's changed his name legally, some things you shouldn't have to abide by.

Oh man, I could not disagree more. I don't think I will ever get tired of it. Every time I hear it I laugh to myself. He is playing a little better this year as well.

Stuff like this is just awesome: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kICAD58dFyU

+1000. That really grinds my gears lol. His family and all his teammates still call him Ron Artest, and he already said that you could call him whatever you want, so why are the announcers calling him MWP? I just sounds ridiculous when they say it.

Derrick Rose is just so damn efficient with his every move.

This kid really has been a student of the game. And he is so focused.

Rubio with 12 dimes so-far and they are neck-and-neck with Miami tonight. Khan gives his eternal thanks to Ernie Grunfeld tonight.

Edit: Miami hangs-on to win by 2. Rubio with a double-double. I guess the question as-to whether or not Rubio could be an NBA player has been answered :(

I think you guys whining about Rubio are missing something else that EG screwed up in that trade. He should have easily been able to get Minny's mid to late 1st rounder in that trade (which is what I said at the time of the trade) - that ended up being my boy - Ty Lawson. He proved himself last season as a starter, and he's been better than Rubio this season.

Just curious, does that face protector really protect Rip Hamilton's nose from breaking again? I mean I just don't see the point, if he catches a hard elbow how much is that plastic mask really gonna protect him. Anyway, he looked solid tonight. Perfect addition to the Bulls because he's constantly running around and taking attention away from Rose (who had 16 assists tonight btw :o ). They're going to be scary good again this year.

^ I'm pretty sure it does protect him. IIRC, his nose was broken several times and they had to actually remove some cartilage for it to look right. So now he has to wear it cuz another hit to the nose and it might implode, never to return.

Brooks will be leaps and bounds better than Nick. He's already better than Nick Young.

Marshon has a legit shot at ROY.

The Cavs took the Pacers to OT last night. Poor Kyrie Irving missed a game-winning lay-up. The Cavs are definitely better than us and Irving was the right pick for the Cavs....at pick#1 anyway.

I think the entire league is slowly getting better.

Seems once they got away from drafting so many HS players and players are staying in school a little longer, we are getting a better level of player.

It seemed like before, everyone wanted the home run. Now teams are getting a lot more doubles and triples. Plus the Euro players are evolving.

Sadly, our number is a little bit of the prima dona type. Bad luck we missed out on Kyrie instead. But Singleton, Mack and Vesely are of the new mold I am talking about. Need to just keep adding that type of personality.
