I think there are many people contribute in different way, and different people have their knowledge in different aspect. From business, salary cap/league rules, player scouting, game strategy, news update, daily paper, free agents, and etc. There are many people should be credited to make this board one of the best.

Again, there are a lot of people, and I probably missed some of them or forgot their name, but I will put some of the common ones here in no particular order:

Dagger (excellent knowledge in business aspect)
Double Helix (the master of stats contributor)
Rhettmatic (quick release and clutch at summarizing news)
Undefeated (great knowledge in game strategy)
RapsObsessed7 (salary cap and trading expert)
Turbo Zone (graphical expert)
vini_vidi_vici & KG1585 (consistent master of daily paper)
and etc.

Thats essentially how I feel as well. I don't post often (usually when I lock a thread, lol) but I'm on the site all the time because of the quality of posters we have. Kudo's to everyone for keeping this board active and fun. (No mod jokes here please :lol:

I have been fouled hard this season and couldn't post as much as I wanted to, so I'm going to refrain from nominating posters. But I'd like to say thank you to those who contribute, even if I don't necessarily agree with everything everyone says, that's what like is about. Often those different opinions actually enlighten me in the long run, so without them I'd be missing out. Thanks to RealGM for being a place we can co-habitate together and discuss a sport we love so much.

lol So many names there. That was the highpoint of the board, imo. It's been downhill every since, even though RealGM has grown leaps and bounds. Or maybe just because Raptors were more worth talking about way back in the day. :wink:

edit: lol just noticed the board had 2 mods back then.

Probably you are not alone. All these season ending threads or discussions have been very limited. There are many speculations, but not many insightful information regarding the up coming direction. Many posters have been disappeared due to limited information/communication. And Daily Paper has been replaced by Daily Lottery Update threads.

I believe when we are reaching the playoffs next season, there are more quality posters come back for posting, with different perspective and insightful posts to bring the forum more active.

Also appreciate some of those came from other forum, some from the Bulls board, some from the Jays and etc.

Im reading everyones posts and my impression is

Waylon Mercy is severely overlooked as a nomination of Funniest Poster of the Year. Almost all that dudes posts had me cracking up.

Hulk Hogan would have gotten my vote also but I've only seen him post once this season.

In my case, it's completely due to my health issues.
I enjoy talking backetball here, regardless of the team's success (although I'll always post less when the weather is nice)

Its kind of strange to see the dynamics of the board change across these years. It feels like I'm still a new poster/lurker, though I've been here for 4 years. I enjoy reading all of your opinions

(which really means is that a lot the regular posters that I enjoyed reading are gone, so I'm just being political
