MKG and TRob just seem so low reward to me not sure either of them will ever even be an allstar. Drummond could at least potentially be something special

1st round pick discussion (#2 overall)

Like we need another front court player that can't shoot...at least drummond's ceiling is howard and his floor is a serviceable center....these guys don't grow on trees

no, they would not

great, next year we can get the 9th pick... I'd rather get a crappy player (or at least one not nba ready) and get in the top 4 again.
Lol. No way in hell this team as presently constructed with Gilchrist will go from a 7 win team to even a 20 win team. Will still be in the top 4 picks. I like Gilchrist, but I don't think he is THAT special.

you say Sullinger sucks, but at least he dominated the high school and college games
Drummond never played hard at any level.... he underachieved in high school and college..... yet he's the surefire #2 pick to you and Sullinger sucks?
if Drummond had Sullinger's heart, he'd be battling Davis to be the #1 pick
if the Bobcats draft Drummond, he's going to have a year similar to Biyombo.... add to that, Biyombo and Drummond makes ZERO sense as a frontcourt pairing
Good thing this is the NBA and not high school or college. I don't give two flips what people did in HS or college. Sullinger is a fat, unathletic undersized center.
Charlotte isn't trying to turn it around quickly, so a raw big man with vast potential is just fine and Biz and Drummond will pair up fine, Biz at PF and Drummond at C. Arguably better than Davis and Biz.

MKG
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

his floor is a skinny Eddy Curry..... someone who gets paid and doesnt give a damn....
he didnt care/try in high school or college.... can u really expect him to work hard on his game in the offseason and play hard in games when he's already guaranteed millions?

Wiz fan here - sorry for your bad luck (and ours). I think most Wiz fans see a great shooting wing as our greatest need, so we are leaning toward Beal. Do most here think MJ will go another direction, like PF with Robinson or C with Drummond? Or is Beal a realistic possibility?

He will be backing up Maggette anyway. Granted Maggette will get hurt warming up the third game of the season, but still.

Re: 1st round pick discussion (#2 overall)
i just dont think this franchise can afford to gamble on drummond. and as others have pointed out, biz and drummond make zero sense together.
i'd be ok with beal at #2 if our best player (sad) wasnt a young shooting guard. if he was head and shoulders above the others then i'd go with beal, but it seems to be a crapshoot between beal, mkg and robinson.
so for me, its MKG or robinson. both players are not likely to be 1st team all nba guys at any point in their careers, but both also seem to have pretty low floors and would give this team some much needed toughness.

Take Drummond and wait, we have all the time in the world anyway, still early in the rebuild.

I want Thomas Robinson. Just don't agree with taking a wing player at #2 who'll never be able to impact the game offensively

guess what...
Anthony Davis doesnt make this a good team either
people here are so stupid... you want the Bobcats to suck for the next 2 or 3 years so you keep adding top 5 talents.... nothing would be worse than winning 35 games next season and getting the #10 pick
keep playing the young guys and keep adding young guys.... then in 2 or 3 years, shape your roster and figure out who to keep and build with, and use the other guys as trade chips

Beal is a possibility but he's like 6'3" so I'm banking that MJ will go big with our pick.

Re: 1st round pick discussion (#2 overall)
If this franchise takes a gamble on Drummond and he is a bust this team will move to Seattle within the next 5 years. This is the most important draft in the history of this franchise, and it can't afford to gamble on a player with huge upside, and equally huge downside as drummond. As far as him having Dwight Howard potential? Please..

too early to tell. i'd have to think we are fairly happy with hendo at sg, but if beal blows the others out of the water, then i'm sure we'd still take him and figure out rotations later.

I'm high on Gilchrist but for the Raptors at whatever pick we would get. At #2 I'm not so hot on. Gilchrist may have gotten so popular because of association. The same happened with Corey Brewer. Granted Gilchrist looks to be much better, but if he were on a different team what would people think of him? In high school it was him, Quincy Miller, and James McAdoo that were perceived to be the best SFs in the class. Miller flamed out but McAdoo and Gilchrist were the same players I expected them to be, except one is rated much more highly. I know McAdoo played for a great North Carolina team but he came off the bench because of Barnes.
It's not exactly a guarantee that Gilchrist becomes Gerald Wallace. His handles are shaky (people seem to think otherwise, I think we're watching different players) and his jumpshot is absolutely broken. Makes Ed Davis look like Ray Allen.
He's not exactly a lock at #2 imo.

Let's hope this draft turns out more like the Oden/Durant draft.

Re: 1st round pick discussion (#2 overall)
Does MJ have to sell the damn franchise for us to get a top pick or something?
I'm all for getting two lottery picks instead of one. I don't want to be stuck with one of Robinson, Drummond, Beal, MKG. I'd much rather have say Moultrie and Marshall than just one of the aforementioned guys.
