Unless Melo is ice-cold again, I can't see us losing this. Love the improvement that Shump has been showing.

OMG, :o :o :o :o :o :o :o

We will win, mark this post, write it down, bring it back---anyone willing to make a sigbet I'm down for it (especially those all-the-time-negative-knick-fans-scared-of-everything).

I also think we're gonna come out with a brutally high intensity from the get go, keep Boston around or under 30 points in the FIRST half, take a 15 point lead into the half, blow it open in the third and cruise to an easy win the rest of the way.

Lets hope Woodson makes the proper adjustments or we are taking a trip back to 2004.

Yes, JR Smith will be playing.

That's not an adjustment. I get JR Smith is valued high but after watching the Knicks come back only to blow it away in OT is on Woodson not on JR.

The loss is on Melo and I love Melo. Dude could not buy a basket and then missed huge free throws. Had he not selfishly chucked up some terrible pullups late in the 4th and in OT and either driven to the rim (which was working because he was getting calls for once) or given the ball to Felton (who was on fire) we'd have won the game and we'd be resting for round 2 instead of playing game 5.

Yup. Hopefully he learns from it as we move on. I expect a huge game from Melo on Wednesday. I don't mean just points, I want to see him fill up the stat sheet and put the Celtics away. He's a superstar, right? He wants to make a legacy in NY? This is his moment to shine, he's healthy his team is good, he's up 3-1 on the Celtics and nobody on that team has been able to stop him so I expect a big game from Melo. Crash the boards, attack the rim and go for your signature offensive put backs. Create for the other guys a lot more and don't settle for jumpers.

We showed that we could take their best shot on the road and still came back to force OT. Really should have won it in regulation, but our FT shooting was poor and we had some bad offensive possessions down the stretch.

Need to close this out at the Garden on Wednesday.

Even if Melo is choking hard, we have Jr Swish.

Let's come out strong and finish them.

we can't afford to send the game into OT. Our OT record is terrible. I don't believe we even won a game.

Do I really have to sit through 3 work days to get to this game. UGH. By far the worst part of this whole thing.

The optimist in me is saying: "Knicks will win this in 5. We smoked them in the first 3 games. In game 4, we were down 20 points and managed to come back and force OT when Melo was at his worst, missing 25 shots, and when we didn't have JR. We're gonna put an end to this on Wednesday."

The pessimist in me is saying: "We should have closed it out in 4. If Boston steals game 5 at the Garden, they are going back to Boston for game 6 with ALL of the momentum. If they win that, then we're headed to a game 7 where anything can happen and where all the pressure in the world would be on Melo and the Knicks."

Optimist wins out. Knicks in 5.
