Man, I don't know. Wiggins' athleticism is amazing. Far, far superior to players he's compared to negatively (Gay, Barnes, Derozan). I do believe he can become a better ball handler, but I'm not sure of his basketball IQ.

As for Parker, I think his craftiness and feel will help him immensely at the next level. "Old man game" shouldn't be a slight - you can win with great fundamentals. But I do worry about his defense and his tweener-ness.

If I had to choose, I'd go Wiggins, but what do I know?

Would be so awesome if Parker/Wiggins maximized their potential and became rivals for the next decade.

Can't go wrong with either.

Would love to add some shooting and ball handling with additional picks or trades.

On the other hand...does Wiggins have more potential? Easily, BUT who knows if he will ever reach that full potential whether it be his drive or coaching. I don't think he reaches his peak. Give me the guy that what you see is what you get.

I'd rather take the chance on the guy with the higher upside. But that's also why I think Parker makes more sense for the Cavs this year. They can't afford to and don't want to take a chance on the riskier player this year. Parker just seems to be the safer and more ready pick, which I think is what they are looking for. But if they do go Wiggins then maybe they think he is more of a sure thing then some of us are giving him credit for.

10% and abs start showing. idk if parker is close to that yet. 13-14% seems more likely.

that's fine though. no reason he shouldn't be able to top out at about 8-9%

Not sure why fat % matters in the first place, he isn't Oliver Miller.

I like Parker and Wiggins. I would take Wiggins but its very close and I prefer to not have to think and just take the one that the Cavs don't take.

Parker should be great. But not a superstar and not a first team NBA great. All star? Sure

Wiggins can be a superstar. But more risk with him than Parker.

I would take Wiggins and hope for best. But it is Cavs decision to make.

If you want to discuss stuff, read the RealCavsFan.com to get their take on who Gilbert might draft at #1 or if he deals the pick. That's where the action is for Bucks fans. See what emanates out of Cleveland.

FWIW, Bill Simmons as of now believes the Cavs are leaning Jabari.

Of course. :noway:

Oh well. I will cheer for Wiggins and hope he doesn't get confused and stand in the same corner, at the same time as Giannis.

Stauskas.
I like stauskas but am having a hard time convincing myself he's a step above the other wings like harris, young, lavine, and hood. Rumor here in Phoenix is they absolutely love him and are trying to move up to get him. I think there's some truth to it since im pretty sure they are the only team outside the top 10 he's worked out for.

My question for the stauskas fans is what separates him from the other wing prospects?

Still hoping for Wiggins but either way the Bucks are going to get a high-caliber prospect with star potential. Thursday's going to be a fun night.

I have zero confidence in Hammond getting another Top 10 pick. Would love to see him prove me wrong.

I think he's a great shooter, and a wildly underrated athlete. He's JJ Redick with hops. LOVE Stauskas.

FWIW, Cavs forum poll is 11 to 6 Parker right now. I guess it's not realistic to expect them to have the traffic for 200 page potsie threads like we do.

If you told me before the start of the season we'd get my 3rd or 4th choice at the end of the season I'd have been ecstatic. Hoping for Parker ATM if it's only those two.

Has to be Wiggins if they are keeping the pick. Nobody plays D on that team (of the high picks that is)

He has the ability to handle the ball and make the right pass that those other players do not posses.

This poll is too tough to vote on. I'm going to be absolutely thrilled either way. I'm starting to really settle in on the thought of Wiggins in a Bucks uniform though.
