I'm sure would never lose a game vs. Miami, New York Jets and Buffalo in their whole career's either. Wow, get over yourself and your over rated qb. Flacco is 3 times the $$ QB in the playoffs than Brady.

I lean towards you. I think its J.J. Watt but he didn't make the playoffs. DeMarco Murray wins mvp if they win this weekend.

Come on now. Give Russell Wilson the MVP credit he deserves. 25-2 home record as the QB. Today in the divisional playoff game a 149 passer rating.

It's always "yes, but..." when it come to Russell. All he does is win.

Nope, I would vote Marshawn before Russell

What, is Wilson already due for a lifetime achievement award? 8-0 at home this season. You can just say that. Those other 17 wins have nothing to do with this year's MVP

Yeah, earlier I almost replied with "I don't think RW has played 27 games at home this year." But your comment points out the fact that he has even been better at home this year. Plus, his other point about passer rating in a playoff game is irrelevant.

But I hate when people say "QB is 8-0 at home" as if there is no one else on the team. With some teams this is more impressive, but with Wilson, it is less impressive, because as good as he is, their D is what truly sets them apart from most of the teams. Wilson is probably top 5-7 qb, but you can't state his record as his achievement because it is a team sport.

Yeah, I remember reading a headline that said "Seattle has never trailed by more than 9 with Russell Wilson as their QB"...uh more like Seattle's defense and elite running back have kept games close, but let's fellate Wilson anyways

We're America. We like champions. Wilson is a champion. We choose Montana over Marino. If Wilson leads the Hawks to back-to-back championships, enters next season leader of the team attempting to do what no team has done in the SP era, win three in a row, and all before he has even entered his prime...you know how the script will be written.

The fact of the matter is that very few have caught up to the script that is unfolding yet.

i'm biased and think jj watt should win it. he was always a factor in every game...never had an off game this season. rodgers will likely win it though.

Uhmm im sure Steelers fans said the same thing about Big Ben when he got his first. And probably shouldnt count SB win number 2 BEFORE you even make the game. As for the script thats unfolding it could be so many things other then a 3 peat that its not even worth mentioning.

Listen I like Wilson. I really do. And this might seem like im insulting him but im really not trying to. He's Trent Dilfer that can run by people. He doesnt make mistakes and yes helps his team be one of the best in the league but he's probably the 4-5th mvp on his own team.

Lets see..... 1:Lynch: the offense goes with him
2: Earl Thomas: QB of the Legion of Boom
3: Sherman: helps cut the field in half
4: Wagner: D suffered mightly when he was out. He's their Derrick Brooks
5: Wilson: makes enough plays to move the chains and makes few mistakes

Like I said I like Wilson but he has no buisness being in the MVP conversation with Rodgers n Brady considering what they're asked to do for their teams

And the Seahawks were definitely not undefeated at home this season, because I distinctly remember Dallas owning them earlier during the season in Seattle. People made a big deal about that game at the time.

And same, I don't hate Wilson at all. In fact, he seems like a really good dude, and I respect him.

But if you ranked the starting QBs around the league...where would Wilson rank?

This season, would you take him over P. Manning, Rodgers, Brady, Roethlisberger, or Romo? Hell no, those were the clear cut top 5 QBs in the league this season. So how does a guy who's not even top 5 at his own position (at least, there are others I would probably take over Wilson as a QB as well) win MVP? And all of those other QBs won 11+ games as well. In fact, the only one who led his team to less wins than Wilson was Roethlisberger, whose Steelers went 11-5.

Arizona Cardinals with Carson Palmer. Hottest team in the NFL. Arizona Cardinals without Carson Palmer. Laughable.

JJ Watt was consistently dominant every game for the entire season. No other player can say that.

First I want to say I love JJ Watt and what he brings to the table. However, anyone that is voting for Watt, I have one question...

Take Rodgers and put him on the Texans...Take Watt and put him on the Packers. Where are both teams right now?

Packers are probably a 6-8 win team with a very good defense, while the Texans are in the playoffs. I don't care how much worse the Texans defense is without Watt. With Houston, you are giving Rodgers actually a slightly upgraded running game, Johnson and Hopkins. I think Houston is easily a 11-5 team with Rodgers.

Regarding Romo, I haven't seen a QB with that much time in the pocket since Brady in 07. I think Romo has a chance, but it has to be Rodgers.
