Well I dont know if Lirthuanian coachj is better than Casey or not but he certainly liked his defense, just that differently from casey he knows how limited his roster is and builds his defensive strategy following the personel he has so that it does play off each players strengths and hides as much as possible each players weakness.

Anyone who says JV looks fat is lying to themselves. From the picture alone I notice his biceps a bit. Before he had zero definition on him. So he is doing something right. Until he plays we will never know for sure.

It will be interesting how JV and Sabonis Jr mesh together, JV is a good rebounder, Sabonis is elite in that department. Is there any reason why the both of them shouldn't get ALL of the rebounds against Austria?

Um, Sabonis was elite in U18 age group. This is men's basketball we're talking about.

P.S. Game starts in 30 minutes.

Sabonis is pretty elite rebounder, but I wouldn't say hes better than Val. Val is elite rebounder as well.

He was leading rebounder in all friendly games so far. And if not elite, he is at least very good at it, even in Mens Basketball, already. Hes always there for the ball, reaching in, tipping it and so on. As of right now, I would not mind seeing him on the final roster.

he was super fast! but seriously, i was surprised to see him running.

Another thing is that JV controlling his teamates a lot, he's very vocal and obviously took a role of a leader on the team.

Still trying to pound his way into the paint I see. Got the chair pulled.

He scored his first points with a nice spin and a jumper.

Gave up a jumper to Jakob Poetl cause he was unwilling to leave the paint.
