So yes, they want the money from the "Soft Open", home opener on a Wednesday, then they want second game on Friday to bring the real crowd, hopefully tons of non-Milwaukee and Milwaukee Suburbs. MO MONEY! MO MONEY! MO MONEY!

Re: 2015-16 schedule released on 8/12
Granted, all but 1 of our Natl tv games is on the road, the March 9th game vs Miami. I'm fine with that, almost like NBA is testing the Bucks team to win on the road against the current contenders and stars. Jabari's return coincides with the 2 Chicago games. The 2 ESPN games in March vs Cavs and Heat are important playoff seeding games, expecting that the Bucks may be in the mix again.
If you thought the Bucks jump last year was enough to warrant a Christmas game you were fooling yourselves. The East being pretty bad only meant the West teams would outnumber the East teams again on X-mas...7-3 haha
Minnesota seems to have gotten more love than Dallas this year, Dirk just needs 477 points to pass Shaq for 6th all-time scoring. But he's playing defense with Zaza...

Could be interesting if we can stay competitive pre-all star.

Also, back-to-back's at the Staples Center vs LAC and LAL 12/15 & 12/16. That's unusual. I'll try and make 'em both.
But the team also has only three games vs. Atlanta and Miami each, so everything evens out.

Called us finally getting on TNT.
Friday against the Wizards is the real home opener for us. I expect a big crowd that night, might end up going myself.

Literally right after I said I'd bet my salary that we wouldn't have a national TV game, they release the schedule and we have FOUR. Guess I know whats on the dinner plate tonight, crow! Great news though, didn't think the national media would take interest in us yet.

Re: 2015-16 schedule released on 8/12
Some quick scheduling stats
19 back to backs it looks like? I can't spot a 20th anyway, but it's possible that I'm just blind I guess.
1 4 in 5 that I can spot (Jan 12-16).
Breakdown of games, in order of last year's standings:
All West Teams 2
Atlanta 3 (2 away)
Cleveland 4
Chicago 4
Toronto 4
Washington 4
Boston 4
Brooklyn 3 (2 away)
Indiana 4
Miami 3 (2 home)
Charlotte 4
Detroit 4
Orlando 4
Philadelphia 3 (2 home)
New York 4

Also the nba can add national TV games. I noticed that we play the Bulls the last week of the season on a Sunday that could turn to an abc game depending on how both teams do during the season

1. MORE REST. With the plague of injuries the league has dealt with over the past three years and consistent complaints from players, coaches, and general managers over the amount of compressed games, the league finally made adjustments to the schedule which should at least help in significant ways. The number of dreaded four-games-in-five-nights league-wide has been reduced by nearly 60 percent, going from 70 games last season to just 27 next year, with teams averaging less than one per team.
Meanwhile, back-to-backs have also been cut significantly, from an average of 19.3 per team to 17.8. The impact of these kinds of changes should be significant in reducing the number of injuries, especially when combined with the longer All-Star break the league instituted last season. The league has not made the move to pull the season start-date back while reducing the preseason, but that determination could be made next year.
It's a smarter, more efficient schedule that has resulted in a lower number of weekend games, but should help the league overall with an image problem it suffers when the best players are absent.
