I can't believe it.

before today, the best player Masai had grabbed from outside the org since he's been here was......Serge Ibaka.

I didn't think he had it in him to make this trade.

The fact that he did without giving up one asset I really care about is just tremendous.

Buddy, not everyone is happy about this trade. I am in a way, but also I am not. Trading your most loyal raptor for a player who specifically said he doesnt want to be in Toronto.

Loyalty is overrated in this case, he should be grateful that the organization handed him the $137 million dollar contract in the first place.

He could have bolted to LA in 2016. Magic Johnson was ready to hand him a big contract. He didn't even bother waiting and re upped with the raptors immediately. That's fine, the Spurs are super lucky they got an all star in return.

well he might not want to live in the shadow of Kobe. I know Demar wanted to create his own legacy for a team that didn't much of a legacy other than VC.

LOL wtf. Did the Celtics ruin their image by trading IT?
We traded 1 pick in the 20s, how is that setting the franchise back?

It was there for not even a full season....DD has been the franchise player on this team for 10 years.

Celtics have no problem signing star free agents, we do. Now we have ZERO chance of that ever happening.

I will go from happy to ecstatic if we see Kawhi suit up for the Raps. My cynical old ass still thinks he's never putting on our colours.

Masai Has Testicles The Size of Cannonballs

Post#71 » by NinjaBro » Wed Jul 18, 2018 10:45 pm

Time for us to eat crow. I was always the one who used to snicker when Masai told us he was evaluating. We can no longer make fun of Masai anymore for his patience. He'd always said his goal was to win a championship and was always looking for ways to make us better. He fired the COY after having our best season in franchise history and got rid of our best player for an upgrade. Masai has giant balls and has gone out and did everything that he said he was going to do.

All hail the great Masai

Kawhi is the only person in the world with hands big enough to cup Masai's giant balls.

Masai is so overrated.
He left the Denver as a treadmill team, and he did to Denver what he did to us over 5 years, make a team with a good regular season record that gets handled in the playoffs.

Yet in Masai we trust, for some reason.
