Training Camp Thread, 2019-20 -- Strus, Gates & Maten Waived

I find it odd that while the official Celtics site has already updated the roster page to remove PJ Dozier and RJ Hunter, they have Tremont Waters listed among the 15 players (no Tacko, Strus, or Green). If both Tremont and Strus are the current two-way players, either they both should appear on the page or neither of them.

Indeed. The Cs should put more emphasis on making their website useful and timely. They would increase their traffic by orders of magnitude. Their "history" section stopped like four years ago. That would take maybe one hour to update.

I see that Chinanu Onuaku (from Celtics Summer League) beat the pants off the Senior Team USA.

I'm all for giving Onuaku a Run at Camp. I'd like to see 20 players, total.

That was bad, did have a look, a very sad effort.

Might be 6 years ago that they stopped caring, and updating? Maybe more.

A terrible place. Celtics seem to have jumped on the train with everyone else who caters to the illiterate who communicate by pictures and alphanumeric garbage on their telephones.

Am also displeased with the use of the secondary logo at the top of pages.

It is something out of a garden, picked up from the lawn, why would you use that instead of the most famous logo of all sports?

Brown will be on a max, Tatum in the first year of his new max. Kemba/Green/Hayward/Brown/Tatum/Fall all on maxes, hope Wyc makes some wise investments in the next couple years to afford it.

5’10” but the wingspan is reportedly huge!!! Though never been measured. Step back J is sick though but % is pretty low.

Well with full roster now. It looks like green with the money bonus gets a leg up, but I'm still pulling for tacko to get it. At least drop strus for him as a 2 way. But all really have a long shot chance and that can't be said often.
