I don't know what Gasol does that just completely invalidates Jo.

Wow dumb **** is happening.

Simmons and Embiid have been awful and not getting blown out. I guess that’s good?

Brand definitely acquires him next offseason.

Looks like they're doubling Jo every time. Ben has to turn it up. Otherwise we're playing 3 on 5 on offense.

Siakam just doesn't impress me. He does some goofy ass **** and it just happens to work.

You're right. I'm very confused by the score of this game.

I know he's putting up numbers, but Siakam still doesn't look like a top-15 guy to me. Sneaky long, can shoot a little, not really a playmaker, overrated defensively. Eh.

Can't really blame Jo too much, from all the possessions I've seen they're nearly always doubling Jo. They do an even better job of this by doubling late, so the shot clock is whittled down. The key to this is quick decision making, players cutting (which we don't do) and Ben taking advantage of fast breaks by getting to the line.

The 2020 Sixers are just gonna be our starting lineup and a bunch of 7 foot white guys. Market inefficiency!

It’s pretty simple what Toronto is doing to embiid. And embiid still doesn’t get it. Once he gets gasol to within 7-10 feet of the bucket. The double team comes.

This is where coaching comes and where embiid needs to be taught. Coaching needs to tell whoever the double team is coming to immediate crash the weak side. Create space. This force Toronto defense to switch to defend the weak side.

Some one will be open

But embiid also needs to recognize this.

we are asking him to do alot. he may never be the #1a guy but he's playing close to 40 mins a night and running alot. we're also playing without kyle so that puts even more pressure on him to create 1 on 1. he's still developing so this may not be his final form. time will tell.

Jo tends not to make quick decisions on double teams.

I know Burke shot poorly the last 2 games, but he's been impactful. He puts pressure on the half court defense, racks up assist and takes care of the ball. He been way more impactful with his limited mins than Neto.
