Giannis is basically Ben Simmons with a slightly better shot and he’s no where as complete as Harden

Giannis is more complete than Harden if you factor in defense , rebounding, playing off the ball/within a system not solely getting his. Again if you catagorize skill as purely shooting, ball handling, and passing, with everything else as pure athleticism (no skill), then by definition its impossible for Giannis to ever be more skilled than Harden (or any big compared to a wing). Harden is definitely more refined as a player but has also played longer. Calling Giannis a slightly better Simmons is an insult and shows the disrespect bigs/foreign players get vs. the perimeter guy.

I’ll give you rebounding and defence because Giannis is bigger, but how can you be better at playing off ball if you can’t shoot? All the all time off ball players, Curry, Klay, RIP HAMILTON, Durant etc could shoot. Playing off ball means you’re doing one of two things, cutting or being ready for the catch and shoot

Well I mean Harden is better at every aspect of the game except defense, which also has a lot to do with physical advantages. Harden is just more skillful player, nothing wrong in noting it.

Crashing boards is part of rebounding. The problem is there are no other playmakers on the rockets beside Westbrook, so there is no one for Harden to screen for. But I agree that Giannis has some merits that I missed

Defense is 50% of the game. So if you exclude defense you exclude 50% of the game. That's one.
Harden's teammate Tucker is a great defender. What's his physical advantage?
Secondly, is Harden better by Giannis as an inside scorer? When did that happened?
Not to mention that if Giannis takes the same amount of shots and plays the same amount of minutes he will probably score more.
Giannis can do anything except shooting at a pretty good level. That sounds a lot more complete to me.
