Re: Giannis SIGNS
I'm surprised and impressed with Giannis signing.
After the missteps of the offseason, combined with the unconventional/at times unprofessional ownership and FO, I was leaning towards Giannis taking his talent elsewhere to achieve his goal.
I'm impressed with the level of loyalty and gratitude he has. Yes, the Bucks organization gave him a chance. But, that doesn't mean he owes them anything past his contract. In a time where loyalty is the exception, not the norm, this is eye opening. This is a great look for Giannis. He will endear himself to Milwaukee and elevate himself to revered legend, not only as a basketball player, but as a person in the city and state of Wisconsin.
Can't say enough of how cool this is for Milwaukee and Wisconsin.

Woke up at 4am throwing up non stop, to the point I had blood in my upchuck so I called into work. This makes my day totally worth it and erases my fantasy football loss last night.

Re: Giannis SIGNS
Leaving just isn’t who he is. He’s risen above a lot already, this just cements what he wants to become and what I believe he will become. I think we have a future top 5 player of all time on our hands and I’m ecstatic to see it official. God is good. Merry Christmas y’all

Amazing. I somehow feel like he is too good for us. Like what did we do to deserve him.

Disaster Avoided, I actually like that we kept DDV and DJ over Bogs, as long as Giannis signed... Happy Camper...
Now we just need Bledsoe to get cut and sign for the minimum, come back and get his ring too....

Phew.
I didnt think he was re-signing.
I hope he never tries to push himself out. So relieved.

No surprise really. Thought it might be for shorter, but just glad it's over for now.
The chicken Littles can head back to their roosts.
Lot of people stating he wasn't signing should feel stupid right now.

Giannis is a better man than me. I'm born here and would've said "I worked my butt off for the city and will try to get a championship before I leave, but I'm going to LA" then make an arrangement with my baby momma, and live the lebron/Harden hybrid lifestyle.

Yeah, I wonder why people that tried to paint Giannis as selfish, diva, without loyalty, FT missing, 6'11'' Westbrook player are happy that he signed a supermax extension with their team.

I actually feel really happy for all the little kids who idolize Giannis. It would have been crushing for them if he left after this season.

Dude, are you serious? If he didn't re-sign by the 21st, he could have re-signed in next off-season. I don't want sports to cause you physical ailments.

Thank god for working from home. I have no ambition to finish the day with this amazing news. Time to hit a joint.
