Don't usually disagree this hard with Nash, but Claxton only playing 6 minutes while LMA and Griffin are each on pace for like 35+ minutes is a travesty.

They should each be 20-25 mpg role players, and Claxton should be getting the majority of the C minutes.

Claxton usually plays more mins in 2nd half, and Nash has implied that Claxton is on an unofficial minutes restriction as Nets are cautious with his injury history/weak frame.

That's definitely understandable. It's better to have him play more minutes if and when we need him down the stretch to get stops and close out games.

They're keeping Kyrie in front and walling off the paint. This is when KD's game would completely blowup this defensive strategy. Alas, we must wait another game or two until he comes back.

Kyrie's shot selection has been garbage. He can take a pull up 3 literally any time he wants, why do it with 17 seconds on the clock? Especially when you're off.

So I get minutes restrictions for Claxton, but there's 16 minutes of game time left lol. He maxes out at 22 minutes even if he plays the rest of the game.

Not that I think Claxton is some superstar game changer or anything like that, but he's consistently shown the ability to make a real difference defensively. Worth a shot, is all I'm saying.
