This was a beat down in front of a sell out crowd tough one to swallow. We're gonna need to make some moves for sure if we're serious about contending tho.

You know what I've been feeling like **** today and was about to go to bed but I can't miss the possibility of Raimel Tapia on the mound.

We're probably the 2nd best team in the AL right now. There's really nothing that wrong with the roster other than some better RPs/starting depth (and getting rid of Tapia), but that isn't going to make us as good as NYY are right now.

Yeah probably just middle of 10-1 L overreacting taking a bigger picture approach were definitely at worst a top 4 team in the AL. I think some improvements to the Pen and another stater would help a lot. Some years teams just click at every level and the Yankees are that right now.

Pains me to admit it but this Yankees team is legit. So deep, tough outs up and down the lineup, the rotation I think has def over achieved but everything else is kind of where it should be. A 10 game lead when we are 11 games over .500 ourselves is absolutely insane

Every one of their starters (except Cole) is having a career year (with their ERA outperforming their FIP). It's annoying to play against them right now, but they'll cool off eventually. They don't have 5 aces, even if they're playing like they do now.

Our lineup looks good when we're not slotting scrubs in there for no reason. Even our starting pitching will be fine once Gausman stops sucking. But the bullpen definitely needs help.

Kirk is unreal. I think the fact that he looks so unassuming is what makes it fun

Might as well put Montoyo's favourite player Tapia in the game now in this blowout. Also put Zimmer in as well. Now is the time to rest a couple of the Starters like Springer.

On the bright side, after Sunday we will not face the Yankees until August 18. Hopefully in 2 months time, they are not playing at this insane level.

Sounds like we should probably make him an outfielder for the first couple years of his career. Think about what kind of an upgrade he'd be on Lourdes.

That's a terrible idea. You don't switch a premium catcher to OF because of team need.

It's called a joke. Note the laughing emoji.
