Yes, not limiting his minutes would be a huge mistake. JI doesn't play in more than 2 years, we need to keep him healthy so we can trade him haha

I made the comment earlier about Jonathan Issac's last appearance with the Lakeland Magic and after further thinking about it came up with this. It all makes sense to me why it's been two and a half years since we've seen him play. Jonathan Issac plays basketball because he's good at it, not because he loves the game. February 2018 Issac played a couple of games for the Lakeland Magic for rehab. At the game I attended it happened to be Tracy McGrady Night and he was there to be honored and Nick Anderson was also in attendance. Two great Magic players/legends and Issac played flat, Issac played without emotion or passion. I did not see a guy that loved the game, I did not see a NBA player stand out over G-League players. The most frustrating thing was when McGrady was sitting with Issac and talking to him on the bench, Issac didn't appear to care or be taking advantage of having the opportunity that he had to learn from one of the greatest scorers ever. It's just my take from what I seen, BUT it would make sense. If you don't LOVE doing something you aren't going to be in a hurry to get back to it. Possible this could be the reason it has taken this long and we aren't getting much information.

Pretty sure Mcgrady came to orlando camp one year to work out specifically with Isaac, teaching him moves and playing one on one. So maybe TMac didn't come away the same impression you did.

Limits have nothing to do with the competition and moreso with his conditioning and health maintenance. I don't get the issue. lol
