This season has really exposed DeAndre Ayton. Watching him against the Nuggets over the last couple of years, I thought he was arguably a top 5 center playing in a great system.

I think I was half right. He was part of a great system, but he's not a top 5 center.

To only get 5 rebounds and stand there and watch your team get outrebounded by 20 and then blown out by 30 is just unacceptable. Without the 2-man game with an elite PG, he can't really do anything.

Looks like the refs took Lebrons comment personally. 14 free throw attempts in the first quarter for the Rockets, 8 coming from Gordon which is more than the whole Lakers team combined.

Normally I consider anything anyone claims to be “the worst trade in NBA history” to be hyperbole.

But… there’s an argument to be made with the Gobert.

On top of Gobert underperforming so far and how great the very person traded for him has been doing… it ruined the trade market.

We should at least give things some more time first though. We saw the impact that the infamous nets/Celtics trade had on both teams and the Harden trade had an argument until the Nets miraculously turned it around and made said trade work out in the end. So we should at least give things some time. Who knows? Maybe the Gobert trade ends up somehow working out for them in the end.

Rockets are so lost on both ends. Idk how Silas has not gotten canned yet. No accountability and his schemes don't put anyone in a position to succeed. This team does nothing besides trying to defend pick and rolls 2 on 2 when they have absolutely no personnel to make that work. Their offense consistently looks the best running through Sengun at the top of the keys but they consistently get away from it. He wants to run pick and roll heavy offense like he's still got Luka doncic when he has a team without a real PG and a facilitating big. So frustrated with this dude. He stinks.

Memphis looks good but a bunch of teams have a chance to beat them. I don't see any locks in the west right now, but Denver looks the strongest.

Jabari looks like a bust.

Green is pretty good, but his archtype is bad. His haters pre-draft were right. He is Zach Lavine in the absolute best case.

Sengun is who Rockets should build around.

KPJ, don't even mention it. The moment a real PG comes, he gets demoted to 6th man.
