plus the Pels are 55% [16-29] from 3 but the problem is the power forward

yeah ok

The PF still generally is quite uninspiring regardless. Deck chairs aren't created equal though. Morris' issue right now is that he shot has been off for some time (previous 12 games, 21.6% 3PT). Supporting players have different ways they can make impact in addition to the basic things (not killing your defense, maybe spreading the floor, giving additional ball handling, etc). Some guys are energy guys, they cause disruption for the opposition, deflections, increase pace, clean the glass, etc. Some guys can get hot and go off for big games. We get the point.

Marcus Morris' only means of actually exacting additional impact to a game is by making shots as well as having the ability to get hot in a game. Morris has had like one hot game this season in like the beginning of the season , and lately he's not making shots either, so he's 100% a grind on the happiness of fans since he doesn't do anything else at a level that would make anyone excited.

Yes we know we know
he's been slumping for 6 weeks
meanwhile teacher's pet T-Mann isn't doing squat either 5 pts 1 board 1 assist 2 TOs

PF is not the problem
the Pelicans hitting 58% of their threes is the problem
Kawhi shooting 4-16 is the problem

______________

61.8% lol

He left earlier than usual in the third and doesn't appear to be on the bench. Nothing confirmed though

He left in the 3rd with 4:05 left and went straight to the locker room. Hasn’t returned to the bench nor have we gotten an update.

Kawhi with a -20. Morris with a -14.
Why isn't our offense run through Morris? This guy is a stud.

36 losses. 36 losses. No team has ever won a title with 36 losses.

It's all over.

It is asinine to expect Kawhi to have great shooting nights every game. The guy has literally carried this team.
But God forbid we expect Morris to have one decent game to give us something.
Ty Lue literally cannot coach in this league anymore.

That particular starting five will always have the team in a deep hole no matter what. There's literally no surprise in seeing the starters slow, not defending, and struggling to score. Its just how bad are they going to do it.

Like I said before we have too many older and slower guys we need a mix of old and young energy guys. Current starting lineup is old and slow.

Only has 2 shooters Kawhi and EG (Morris shot has been crap for a while now) plus a bad defense unit. I'm sorry but you can't have Russ,EG and Morris starting at the same time and expect a good defensive unit. Someone has to be switched.

As upset as I am at Morris' crappy performance I would never send threats like that. Yes we may get upset but at the end of the day it is just a game. Eye test or plus/minus be damned
