Especially impressive because he didn't develop a consistent three point shot until halfway through his career

It's kinda cool that we're getting the Gordon Hayward we never got in the playoffs now. Via the TPE we got from the Gordon Hayward trade.

Nothing else much to say but:

(1) Keep the focus
(2) Stay healthy

And 1's all around from me.

I'm not sure if ATL fans see this but as soon a Trey would go out, the ball moved around, there were active hands on defense, shooters had spacing, etc... The team looked like not only they could contend but match Boston head-to-head. Then they put that guy back in and we get the luxury of going on a run.

I don't gloat on it as we won't get this with any other team from here on out and they need a punch in the mouth. C's didn't look that special tonight to be honest, but still fortunate they squeaked out the win (14 to go)
156-1 Celtics are frauds when pressure is put on them. They would have been toast if Luka was not stupid enough to foul himself out. Enjoy this ONE finals win. There will never be another with the Js and the Celtics cant afford stacked team.
Derrick was great…..but what about that 2028 pick swap?
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

It’s good seeing Malcolm play more minutes. He hasn’t shot the ball well this series but he was the highest plus minus player today and filled up the stats sheet. I just feel safe when he’s out there because of the offense he provides the ability to hit baskets on all levels and draw fouls when we need it most just like at the end of the third when the hawks were making a serious run. We needed this type of player last season.

Trading Trae Young would be the best thing to happen to the Hawks. The question is what team is willing to give up something good for him?

Yep, i think Trae is the weak link on that team. I doubt their GM is as clever as us though so nothing will happen.

Good win.

VC goes to White. He was great on both ends of the floor. My other two VCs go to Brogdon and Tatum.

Brogdon had a really good all around game, especially in the first half.

Tatum was really good too. That cross court pass to Al for the corner 3 in the 4th was amazing. The 0 FT attempts shouldn't happen.

Smart was the key to our 3rd quarter.

Al was very good defensively.

Brown had his moments.

Rob was hard to watch for me. He was flat footed with no lift and he was a step low defensively and on the offensive glass.

Props to coach Joe for a well coached game.

Loved the MVP chants for White. Fans showed him some love.

Abby was awesome. "It was you tonight Derrick."

Tatum and white gets the VC. White was fantastic.
Brogdon played well enough despite missing shots. Al played good D with timely 3’s. Good to see Rob looking healthy. JB was fine, but still with tunnel vision. Smart played great. I give props if deserving. I’m no fan boy like some here. I would like to eat my words against smart and proved wrong. Tonight he played great overall. Attacking inside, good defense and was in control most of the game. I wouldn’t mind him finishing if he’s playing like this. Plus brog had a bad shooting night. Hauser was meh. I think Pritchard would have been a better choice than hauser in this game. Pritchard would have been effective this game with his shooting and ability to score inside. Oh well hope to see some pritch and muscala next game. See you next series grant “imma make both free throws” williams lol.

White has arguably been our best player in the 2nd half of the season and so far against the Hawks. I'm so happy to be wrong and I hope this continues and his confidence continues growing as the playoffs progress.

MVP!MVP!
Good assessment:
