What is going on with Mo Gueye? Is he in Quin's DogHouse?
He's played very limited minutes this preseason.
I would have thought he would have started vs the heat, but Asa did.
He didn't play in the last game with JJ out, he was also in street clothes.
For someone we thought would fill in at backup PF, he has not played enough to be confident in that.
Welcome to Atlanta Mohammed Gueye

I've never been a proponent of the he's only been playing for x years thing. You can't just catch up years of not learning and gaining experience. Gianis is kind of a one shot for that. I think that the Hawks realise that there are young guys like Asa coming in that are already ahead of Mo at many basketball things

Guess someone under-rated our big Mohamed G.
He's young and inexperienced. Does not matter. He showed up and did his thing in Florida, helping the Hawks win their 1st game this season.
Hawks haven't gotten all their pieces to fit together properly. This will come in time. Already missing, sick or injured. Game #3 tonight.

Are the Hawks finally able to develop a young player???
I haven't been this impressed with a player's development on the Hawks since Alan Henderson
I thought i left a comment earlier in this board, but i didn't like the Gueye draft pick, but i don't mind eating crow now. He is doing great and looks like a legit threat on both the offensive and defensive end.

MG is likely in the best 24 hour stretch of his entire life.
Happy Birthday, young man.
