Pretty surprised Morey was able to get that for an old, expiring, unhappy Harden. I’m team Daryl again.

Thank god this is all over. Definitely seems like the team was playing too well & has great chemistry so we felt the need to get this resolved asap.

I’m happy to get KJ Martin at least. I want to see a lineup where Maxey leads the fast break flanked by KJ & Oubre so we can let the lobs fly.

Thrilled to never watch PJ on this team again.

Players we got back are obviously trash (KJ Martin might have some value?), but we got a very interesting unprotected 1st round pick, a potential high-value swap, and am curious about the 3rd 1st round picks and 2nd round picks. Quite honestly, that is more than I expected. That we got Tucker off our books is also a positive side note.

Next year's cap obligations are reduced by trading Tucker's contract, we have 2 actual FRPs, 2 SRPs, and a swap. This is enough for either a pivot, one-year tank (fake Embiid injury), or actual tank (Embiid/Maxey trades). That's optionality.

Overall I like it. Salary dumped Tucker. Curious what the other first is. With the players mentioned, LAC still owes another 4.2 mil going out. Maybe Mann is actually involved and just hasn't been announced.

We got 2 playoff runs with Harden and the draft capital we got here is more than what we sent the Nets. Simmons is a massive negative value contract.

Morey navigated this well and all things told we ended up on the right side of the ledger asset-wise from the 2 Harden trade demands and took two bites at the apple with Harden. I think the whole Simmons outcome via Harden was a good one despite no championship (yet).

Aren't you suppoed to stick to the GB lol.

Sixers have 2 first round pickcs, a pick swap, and Tobias Harris' expiring, they should be able to flip that for something. That was the hold up, and the whole reason the Sixers hadn't traded him. More wants the assets so he can trade for a star or a few role players.

You may be right there, given that Maxey is breaking out, and atleast in the regular season Embiid is in MVP form, he'll want a move now, which I'm not totally against.

What would you suggest to do in this situation? Keep the picks and?

OG is a great fit but only contracted for this year. Would Daryl just ghost him?
