Donovan Mitchell, despite being "the best player on the court", lost in 5 games to the Knicks last year.
Click bait...
The Knicks simply don't have another body to put other today if Randle isn't playing well.
A Dorian Finney-Smith type of role-player would work wonders in improving the roster. Maybe they get lucky and can get someone younger like Trey Murphy or Herb Jones from NO.
"My Sauces" thinks that since getting a true blue chipper is unrealistic, the only possibly solution would be to play 5 man bball like that last Championship Pistons team.....and he might be right.
Of course this view point is correct. The last team in the last 30 or 40 years to win a chip without being top ten in assists had Kobe and Shaq on it. It's as important as rebounding and playing Defense--- and Thibs has no clue.
The most frustration part about this situation is we have atleast some of the players to do it. I've always said we haven't seen the best this team can do.
Just as an aside...
Banchero has not proven he is better than Randle.
Jimmy ain't the best on his team and Brunson to me is the #1 when we face the Heat.
There are a whole mess of Alfred and Robins out there and all are at about the same level
He wants to say Hali is better?
Head to head how has that gone?
We win when we can control pace, control the boards. Lopez, KP, Towns all have something in common... Big men who splash from 3. Thibs has to work on an adjustment for when we can't do the funnel.
